I moved an hour away from the dealership where I purchased my 2019 Hyundai Tucson so I went to a dealer in Albany recently and had a terrible experience. I was "encouraged" to spend over 3K on repai purchased my 2019 Hyundai Tucson so I went to a dealer in Albany recently and had a terrible experience. I was "encouraged" to spend over 3K on repairs in addition to those I went in for. I was pressured even after saying a polite no and left frustrated that I had been treated that way. No surprise I'm a single female. Days later, my engine light comes on and my friend recommends Matthews Hyundai. I couldn't get an appointment online for weeks but since my car is due for inspection soon I stop by and speak with the service department. The woman I spoke with squeezed me in for a few days later. When I arrived, the technician checked the code on my car, talked me through everything and said the problem was covered under warranty and quoted about 2 hours wait time. While in the waiting area, a salesperson stopped by just to see if there was anything I needed while waiting. A quick hour later and I was on my way with the issue resolved and no bill- not even for the labor. Trust the team at Matthews-from sales to service, they are friendly, helpful and reassuring. I will be back for service and my next car! More
