Came in for service, hood unexpectedly wouldn’t open. They wanted me to pay a $190/hr diagnostic fee plus the charge to repair it. I went home and fixed it myself in 5 mins. A previous time I went for inspection, they said it wouldn’t pass because a couple of my interior light bulbs weren’t working, and wanted to charge me $80 for the two light bulbs. That’s just straight-up robbery! I went elsewhere for inspection and they passed it without worrying about the light bulbs. I fixed the bulbs myself later for $8. More
