Tim tried everything possible to get it done by just faxing it due to me living in Raleigh, but paperwork had to be signed on site due to DMV regulations. So got the wife and my schedules lined up for a Friday trip during which time she got the need a new car itch (her car had over 180,000 miles). We looked at what was available on there user friendly web site, made the call to Marty letting him know what we were interested in and could he have it ready for a test drive. On our way down to Goldsboro we detoured by the Clayton store to do some recon on what they might have available if the car in Goldsboro wasn't what she wanted. Low and behold we spot a 2013 Kia RIO sedan that looked great and used a heavy rain shower as cover to keep our recon covert ,we keep moving on down to Goldsboro as the shower passes . Once we arrive at the Goldsboro Matthew Motors the sun is shining and we are greeted like returning family. The entire staff comes out of the office at some point & hugs my wife, shakes my hand (were's the love?) :) and of course loved my wifes boots giving her numerous compliements. They all wanted to make sure I was enjoying my ZOOM-ZOOM Mazda 6 asking was there anything else I might need. We got my paperwork signed thus begining the process of finding a car for the wife. The car that Marty brought down from Clayton was 2013 Kia RIO hatchback with super low miles (18,000) but the wife prefered the sedan 2013 version she saw in Clayton with just slightly a few thousand more miles (24,000). Marty had my wife give him all her information, looked over her trade in and set up a test drive at the Clayton store with his dad Val informing her if all went well and she liked the RIO in Clayton the wife could come back Saturday and pick up her new car because they would have to bring it down from Clayton to finalize the deal... BUT NO PRESSURE. Remember this is all around 5pm in the afternoon. We packed up, headed to Clayton, on the ride back we get a courtesy call from Marty letting us know everything looked good with my wifes paperwork and they would be expecting us in Clayton. Upon arrival at the Clayton store Val (Marty's dad) greets us with open arms keys in hand slapped on a dealer tag and off we go on our test drive. After the drive my wife called Marty to begin working out the final details. He gave her a price she gave him hers and they met closer to hers than his after just a few minutes. Marty offered to bring up all the paperwork, tags, etc. that evening if we could wait a hour. Off we went to dinner; after a phone call to my insurance company to get the new car on the policy Dave calls with an even lower price than Marty quoted us. Of course we had more questions after looking over things on the car and each one was answered & cleared up with professionalism and courtesy, all request were met without any hesitation that things would be fixed (They even recommended they would put everything in writing). Some minor tweaks like floor mats, valve stem covers, and getting the satellite radio activated for a 90 day free test drive were obliged with no hesitation. Dave, Marty & Mike show up a little after 8pm Marty takes the recently cleaned RIO and fills it up with gas while my wife and Dave sign on the paperwork. A few more hugs and hand shakes from all and our journey to a new 2013 Kia RIO is done. No doubt Matthew Motors of Goldsboro has been a superior buying experience of not just a car but of anything I can ever remember purchasing EVER. Don't just take my word for it give them a try you'll be amazed and tell'em "Zoom-Zoom" recommended you. My wife and a co worker both have bought cars from Matthew Motors in the past month and they agree the experience surpassed there wildest expectations. You to will be on the road with something new from the Walking Man's FRIEND Matthew Motors for sure..... Matthew Motors is RIO GRAND!!!!!!! More

We drove down from Norfolk, VA and would do it again for the customer service that was provided. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and kind, there wasn't any pressure to get something we didn't want. They the customer service that was provided. They were laid back and provided us with a dealership experience we've never had any where else. We had four kids in tow and they had toys and popcorn for them; they didn't make us feel like it was an inconvenience for them to have all the kids bouncing around. The paperwork (which is usually dreaded and takes forever) was relatively short and easy to get through. We would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, there isn't a dealership anywhere that can compare to their outstanding customer service. More
We Loved going into Matthews Motors best decision I have made. We went to I don't know how many places and They were either trying to give us a car we did not want or the prices was out of our price range w made. When Chris and I went in there we were just seeing what the card that was sent in the Mail was about little did we know we would be driving off in a new car. We called first and Shawn told us to come in and see what they had so about a week later we did. When we got there everybody was friendly Shawn remembered exactly who I was. He gave my kids balloons and everyone was very nice to them. Shawn got our information and started seeing what our options were. He was straight forward and polite which was great because we were tired of the run around. So he showed us a car I test drove it and Loved it so he passed the info off to the manager David and he started working on it to. I had to go to work so I let Shawn know next thing you know Tim and Marty chipped in to help also. We didn't feel rushed and what we wanted mattered. They helped us find the right insurance and everything. Tim explained everything dealing with our paperwork that we signed. Now I have a nice reliable car and we are so excited because we are first time buyers. :) I will definitely get another car from them and refer others to go. This was the best car buying experience we have ever had. Mike greeted us quickly and did not pressure us, and came back with a no nonsense, no haggle price. WHOW!!! is all I can say....They said I would ride away and in a little less than 2 hours I was on the road. Couldn't believe it, my credit wasn't the greatest and my trade-in wasn't going to make it much and in a little less than 2 hours I was on the road. Couldn't believe it, my credit wasn't the greatest and my trade-in wasn't going to make it much longer. They gave me a fair price on my car and in no time the deal was finalized. I got into a nearly brand new car with the factory warranty still intact with a lower payment than I walked in on with my trade. They even rewashed the car which was spotless already and answered any question or request. I had a sub woffer/and amp in my old car and they are going to remove it for me at no charge. If you're looking for a great experience at the "ole dreaded car dealership" this will change your life. I'm one happy customer and will be recommending it to all my friends. Marty, Tim, and Dave kept things moving and not only was I treated as the most important person on the lot but everyone was made to feel welcome and like family. I could go on but I've got a 2012 Mazda that's calling me to go ZOOM-ZOOM...... More
