Disappointed I purchased a vehicle for my company from Tyler at Mathews motors. It went great he’s definitely a great guy and this is where my disappointment come I purchased a vehicle for my company from Tyler at Mathews motors. It went great he’s definitely a great guy and this is where my disappointment comes in the servicing. I wanted to keep things in town and began having my trucks serviced here in Clayton. I bought an older van to add a vehicle to my company knowing it needed TLC. I thought great I have people I can trust and rely on up at Mathews motors. I said give it a look your the experts let me know what it needs they did. So after the first time the truck repairs were a little over a thousand. Then the second time almost 500 the final time over the period of two months was my last straw there was 2400 more dollars of suggested work each time I lost the truck from service so my company lost money and how come we didn’t get it on the first visit none of this was new stuff. They never test drove the van well enough to notice that the repairs weren’t right. Sure they took a couple hundred off the bill but my truck with all the servicing cost me 3500 in repairs and it was down 10 days. Tyler is not a mechanic so I don’t fault him but someone in the service department should be able to be a good mechanic. I should have gotten a full refund and didn’t. Bottom line is I will no longer do business with them because I can’t trust not Tyler but the others that are supposed to be doing the right thing by the customers. I disintegrated want to write this review however this was truly one of the worst automotive experiences I ever had. More
