They told me my initial offer of nearly $6,000 would drop because my REGISTRATION was "expired" by 3 days accor These people are absolutely horrible. They told me my initial offer of nearly $6,000 would drop because my REGISTRATION was "expired" by 3 days according to their database (this day was 10/24/17), however according to the state, my registration doesn't expire until 08/2019 - almost 2 years later. They also told me that my hood needed to be repainted, which I called them out on because I had it professionally painted literally less than a month ago. They then changed their story saying that the bumper needed to be repainted because I had bugs on it. I drove the car the night before, of course I had fresh bugs on it - but it needed a wash, not $4,000 off my initial offer!!! So from nearly $6,000 to $2,000 because MY "registration is expired" (which doesn't mean ANYTHING to them) and I had bugs on my bumper. Spoke to my mechanic about this and the mechanic said that Mattingly Motors often calls the shop requesting the mechanics "just make it run." They also post their own reviews online - "Call me biased, but I love this place. I know we go above and beyond to make sure all customers are treated the right way the first time. ~ Michael Mattingly" What kind of reputable company does that?! More
