BLOWN HEADGASKET. $6400 LATER. DEALER COULD CARE LESS. My review will be short and sour… Literally will not waste my time any further with this dealership. Recently purchased a used vehicle that supposedly exceeded their shops standards when bringing the vehicle in. A month later the truck begins gushing oil out of all sides of the engine. I therefore take the truck to a reputable shop in Monroe to diagnose the problem as I could not find where it was coming from. Long story short the truck that MAXIE PRICE sold me had a BLOWN HEADGASKET that they halfassed repaired by filling the engine and components with silicone to prevent the oil leaking and the coolant to burn. Might I add the repair bill was $6,400!!! I gave Maxie Price plenty of time to make this right as I did not expect them to foot the bill however I did see it right for them to help out as they could with such the circumstance. With many of trips to the dealership to talk with the used car sales manager Jeff Waughn, Service Manager Chuck Wegmann and General Manager Dennis Murphy regarding the matter all I was filled with were lies and false hope. I’m a 28 year old man who simply can not spare a $6,400 repair bill after purchasing a truck you believed was to be in tip top shape. The least these people could have done was have the professionalism and courage to just say there’s nothing they can do but instead I was told the following. "We'll get back to you.. We'll call you first thing Monday morning.. We have to speak with the Price brothers... xxxxxxxx after xxxxxxxx.." I came from a long line of loyal Maxie Price customers however I know I can speak on all their behalves that not one of them will purchase from MAXIE PRICE brand if they're life depended on it. Have a look for yourself what you will get yourself into if you fool with these people. Ive attached the billing from the shop that shows all the damage of how they sold me the truck... as well as the Used Car Inspection sheet (UCI) the dealer presented to me upon request. More

During the purchasing process, we also purchased the PLATINUM WARRANTY. A month after having the truck, the transmission messed up so we took in back to Maxie Price to get fixed using the warranty and they refuse to fixed the vehicle because we were told "WE WERE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE ABLE TO PURCHASE THE WARRANTY BECAUSE THE TRUCK IS LIFTED AND HAS AFTER MARKET PARTS"!!! Maxie Price himself even admitted that his sales rep made a mistake but he will not fix it! My husband and I would have NEVER purchased the automobile if we could not purchase the intended coverage. Basically just to make a sale, they lied and sold us the warranty on a vehicle that is not eligible for the warranty. So now, five to six months later they still have it!!! We are taking action though. I would NEVER recommend Maxie Price in Loganville!!!!! More
