A neighbor had purchased a car from Mike Whitesel and had a good experience with him. On a lark we checked Mayse inventory for the vehicle we were interested in online and sort of on the spur of the moment, a good experience with him. Mike understood we didn't intend to buy and just wanted to see what they had. On a very hot day he very patiently showed us and let us test drive as many SUVs as we wanted. None of them really enticed us enough to get serious and he sensed that. The only one that really caught our eye was one parked up by the building waiting for its new owner to pick it up. That night, after Mayse closed, Mike called us to tell us the one that caught our eye might be available. He promised to call first thing Monday morning if it looked like it was still for sale. He kept his promise to us, held it for us until we could get in that afternoon to look at it and arranged a deal! Not only did Mike stay late with us Monday night, Tripp Cook very patiently went over all the necessary paperwork well past closing time. We had narrowed our choice down to 3 different vehicles at 3 different dealerships which Mike was aware. Yet, he did not apply any pressure to our final decision. He simply emphasized the convenience and extras on the Traverse we were interested in and did not say anything negative about other vehicles. He wants the customer to be happy.
