Went to the dealer on 1/6 to get some information about current deals/financing. Ended up leasing two cars on the spot. Drove both cars home on the same day. Glenn and his staff were friendly, knowledgable, efficient and honest. No hidden fees. They even took one car on trade and arranged to have our Jeep turned into the local Jeep dealer. How's that for outstanding service? In the past 11 years, we have owned 5 different Jeep/Chrysler products. My wife and I are looking forward to a long and lasting relationship with Mazda and more importantly, "MAZDA of LODI"! There are closer Mazda dealers to our house, but we will always shop at Mazda of Lodi. I have no affiliation with this dealer other than as a customer. More
I bought not one - TWO cars from this place. Then it was time to give up my lease, so I wanted to buyout my cars because I loved my vehicles. I took my car here to get service, they stole my navigation cd. time to give up my lease, so I wanted to buyout my cars because I loved my vehicles. I took my car here to get service, they stole my navigation cd. I bought new tires and had them mount them, they broke my tire valve and sensor and had the audicity to tell me I had to pay for a new cd ($250) and a new valve that they would do as a courtesy and also the tire sensor ($165). SO basically they steal my car components and then break things and ask me to pay for their mistakes! THE NERVE! This place is complete garbage. They don't help you - they just try to take your money. I observed a customer walking in trying to test drive a car with a test drive slip, they basically told them no not unless your buying a car today. Not only do they not let you test drive, they bascially wont' give you the time of day if you don't say yes I'm going to buy a car today. They rip you off with the finacial end as well. I went over to Ramsey after dealing with these scumbags , because that's exactly what they all are and Wayne Mazda treated me like I should be, like a customer that is looking to purchase something, they treated me like a human with feelings!!! I absoutely cannot believe that anyone has had a good experience going to this dealership. All these reviews that were good were probably the reps themselves. I'm sure this place will go out of business soon because a place like this that lacks customer service in a recession, well, they just simply cannot stay in business. You all will have bad karma in life because you do not treat people the way you guys do. DO NOT GO HERE AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DISPICABLE DEALERSHIP - GO TO EITHER WAYNE MAZDA OR RAMSEY WHERE THEY ALWAYS TREAT ME, THE CUSTOMER, AS A CUSTOMER AND NOT LIKE GARBAGE!!! More
Shopping around for a new car was exhausted going from dealers to dealers until we met Charlie at Mazda in Lodi dealer. My wife and I spent couple of hours but it was well worthy as Charlie made us realiz dealers to dealers until we met Charlie at Mazda in Lodi dealer. My wife and I spent couple of hours but it was well worthy as Charlie made us realized that quality and luxury is well affordable for regular family like ourselves. He was respectful, courteous and well knowledgeable of his role and did not leave us alone until we made up our minds to which car to buy. He helped us thru the decision and worked out a deal that we considered great as it fitted perfectly in our taste and financial responsabilities. Thank you Charlie once again...it was a great experience buying our new car from you and it feels great seeing our new 2011 CX9 parked on our driveway !!! More
We had a brief but a very unpleasant experience with Mazda of Lodi. Went to the dealership on Saturday morning and looked at CX-9 in the showroom. A salesman introduced himself and spent a few minute Mazda of Lodi. Went to the dealership on Saturday morning and looked at CX-9 in the showroom. A salesman introduced himself and spent a few minutes going over the basics. We told him that we had to run, but were going to come back the same day in a few hours and would like to test drive the car. He said it was no problem, and any one of the sales people could help us if he was not there. We called in the evening, half an hour before coming to make sure we could come in and test drive the car. We were assured that we could. As we walked in, we were told that it is too late to test drive the car, and that we could only do so with the salesman who already started helping us before, who already left for the day. We actually spoke to the manager, who was rather rude. We said that we spoke to the guy only for a few minutes, and we could not stay for a test drive then. He said that the only way we could test drive the car was if we were planning to buy it right there and then. He said that we can call for an appointment with the same salesperson during daytime. Our response was, that we are both at work during daytime and evenings or weekends is the only time that's convenient for us. He response was, "Did you think about my convenience?" If that's coming from the manager of the dealership, you can imagine how his sales people relay their wonderful ideas to the customers. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Even at another Mazda dealership they laughed when I told them how horrible the service was at Lodi. Your reputation precedes you. Great way to conduct business, Mazda of Lodi! More
Unless you want to waste your time and be actually send elsewhere.. yes.. you might go to this dealership. After receiving Testdrive certificate in the mail.. and actually being in the market for the new elsewhere.. yes.. you might go to this dealership. After receiving Testdrive certificate in the mail.. and actually being in the market for the new car, decided to go and testdrive Mazda that I was interested in. Sales guy did show car in the showroom.. but after asking taking one for the testdrive -asked if I was really want to buy this car.. Well, I said.. I don't know how car handles.. so can't tell for sure if I am going to buy it before test driving it. He said - "wait.. I will go to the sales manager and ask him.." After waiting for about 10 minutes, he came back.. and said.. SORRY.. UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO BUY CAR TODAY, I CAN'T LET YOU TESTDRIVE IT ! What!!!!????? I though that he was just kidding.. well.. NOT.. so I asked him to talk to the sales manager. And.. Guess what.. HE SAID THE SAME THING.. and also he made an excuse that he has NO ONE to take me for the testdrive. THERE WERE 3 Sales people on the floor.... NEITHER ONE was even with the customer. As a matter of fact I WAS THE ONLY ONE in the showroom... I did ask him.. if he was for serious.. THERE WAS NO WAY I was going to buy a car without even test driving it.. and he said YES.. After I told him that I am going to complain to someone - he just gave me the card and said "GO ahead".. By the way, I hope that he gave his own card.. SO.. HERE IT IS.. IF YOU SEE GOOD REVIEW ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP - IT MEANS THEY are posting it THEMSELVES.. or Paying someone to do it. After everything I went to the MAZDA of RAMSEY - and it took me less than couple of minutes and friendly sales lady to take me for a testdrive.. and even though I havn't bought a car yet (it takes little time for me to decide), but I will consider to go back to RAMSEY..and not to this crappy Lodi dealership. Not sure how they even doing busines.. even in Ramsey they told us that we are NOT THE ONLY one who complained about service there.. Imagine yourself BUYING car there.. Good luck... no matter how good deal they will give you. After sales, you will get NO SERVICE.. or even worse - you will get screwed. I havn't seen THIS KIND of customer service ..well..NEVER!!!!.. particularly when you were going to spend thousands of dollars on the item. So.. Good luck.. Hope that MAZDA CORPORATE going to read this review.. and do SOMETHING about it. This dealer gives the whole company BAD NAME. More
Went in to lease a Mazda at Mazda of Lodi in October and this Sales Manager Jovany was amazing. Very patient, explained all the options and I feel I got the best deal. He offered my kids drinks and let them this Sales Manager Jovany was amazing. Very patient, explained all the options and I feel I got the best deal. He offered my kids drinks and let them watch TV so that I can concentrate on the deal. Drove home the same day with my new Mazda. My monthly payments are exactly what I could afford - he kept within my budget. It was the most stressful and painless car buying experience I've ever had. I'll return my car at Mazda of Lodi anytime. More
i purchase a mazda 3 from them 2 years ago. i was just going to purchase the lease this weekend. when i took the lease on i told the sales rep and finance manager that i wanted to buy the car at the end o going to purchase the lease this weekend. when i took the lease on i told the sales rep and finance manager that i wanted to buy the car at the end of the lease and wanted to know all the fees at the end of the lease. they stated to me - buyout price, sales tax, dmv and doc fee. a little over $1k for the car. i said great. When i went to purchase the care this past weekend july 2010. they raised the fees to over $2500!! while i was speaking with them the manager jeff hung up on me. i called back and then lance hung up on me. DONT GO THERE!! GO TO ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP. My mazda is good - you can buy your lease out from any other dealership - you dont have to go there! How they can do business that way is wrong and unjust. i have reported them to better business bureua. More

I was yelled at and told that I could not be helped with turning in my end of Lease on a Saturday morning when there were no customers just a bunch of sales man in the showroom doing nothing !!! Giovanni, turning in my end of Lease on a Saturday morning when there were no customers just a bunch of sales man in the showroom doing nothing !!! Giovanni, said he would text Glen the owner to see if he would make an exception. He came up to me with his cell phone, put it in my face and showed me that the owner texted him back "NO!!! Tell her to leave and come back on Monday." I would never recommend this dealership to anyone please do not go. If the ownwer doesn't even care about his customers why would the sales people care! Also I want to add that I was seriously considering purchasing my vehicle but I was very upset that they wanted to charge me $999.99 to ground my vehicle and then they said I would be able to buy it out. I called Mazda American Credit and asked about the fee and I was told that there is no such fee! When I told the sales rep at Mazda of Lodi, He told me Mazda American Credit has nothing to do with them! This really made no sense to me. I didn't feel comfortable with the situation so thats why I didn't purchase my vehicle More
I would wish to recommend this dealership only to my enemies or those who have cash to throw out without regards to the final price. Matt was one of the dealerships that contacted me to urge me to co enemies or those who have cash to throw out without regards to the final price. Matt was one of the dealerships that contacted me to urge me to consider buying my Mazda 5 from their dealership. All in all, from his voice message he left, he sounded like he was a genuine good guy with the best of intentions. Little did I know how wrong I was. When I set up a time on a Saturday afternoon to go to the dealership I should have just skipped out altogether given the few people I saw stopping by on such a busy road. Still I took a chance and got a chance to sit down with Matt. I already did alot of research on the Mazda 5 I wanted and what I was expecting to pay. When he sat me down before even discussing the price he was going to give me, he became a drone and started taking down every possible information about what I was looking for, how much I made, and if I was going to throw in my car as a trade-in. Little did I know that this was all a ploy to give him some leverage in negotiations. A word to the wise - if a dealer starts asking you all this information and writing it down.......walk away. Being the first car I would ever decide to purchase, it was a learning experience. His little cube was set very humble with a picture of him and his daughter(?). I was with my cousin who was familiar with these tactics to make it feel like he's an upstanding person looking to fool you into a false sense of security. When he returned after discussing with his boss and using some formula I won't understand, he gave me the manufacturer's price. Right off the bat, I knew I made a wrong choice in coming here. If he thought he could get away at charging me the full price WHICH I already researched and NOBODY pays for that car, he was dead wrong. I think he soon realized that when I chuckled at that price. Matt tried to feed me some bull about this is a good deal and I wouldn't have ANY of it. After that he went back to pull some numbers out of his rear with his manager and brought back the infamous "invoice" price the dealership paid for the car. He said he'd be fired for showing me that price and NO OTHER DEALERSHIP would show me this piece of magical paper. Another piece of bullshit that I already knew about after visiting a previous dealership who showed me the EXACT same piece of paper. Funny thing is when I questioned him about some of the numbers he didn't know anything about it, but I was already informed. (There is a supposed price that dealer employees pay for and another price that manufacturing employees pay for) Needless to say, I was ready to walk out and he should've known better to stop his false "best intentions". Humoring him a bit I asked what would be my "out the door" price after all this is said and done with taxes and fees. I already knew about the title fees and maybe a dealership fee but then he threw in a windows etching fee that's "required by NJ law". If they say this, instantly call bullshit. I didn't believe it and after leaving I did my own research on car laws and this is NOT required. Lies upon lies, I was exhausted and I was fed up with this crap I was being fed. When his manager, Mike came over as a last ditch attempt to gain my business, he was less than friendly and was obviously not happy that I was trying NOT to get ripped off. Maybe because HE was ripped off from the manufacturer or he wasn't happy with making just a couple hundred dollars, I dunno. When he asked what price I was willing to settle for I just threw out a made up number just to get out of there. After sharing his statement "I should be ashamed of myself" for trying to deceive the dealership. That to me says plenty about this dealership. Maybe Matt is a nice guy, and maybe he was pressured by his stern boss to get the "best" deal out of his customers. Either way, if he was more up front about it, I may have considered it, but business is business. You play your cards wrong and get called out and what's done is done. Needlessly to say, after this experience I would NEVER go back here and watch out for these "I'm your friend" tactics. More
