I brought my truck in to have body work done but also got new tires installed . I picked up my truck on the day it was finished and upon arriving home I noticed they had installed the wrong type of tires req new tires installed . I picked up my truck on the day it was finished and upon arriving home I noticed they had installed the wrong type of tires required for my truck (2500 Chevy WT). To my surprise they installed a passenger vehicle tire and not the appropriate 10 ply heavy body tires required for this type of truck. What they installed was a 4 ply 50 psi max tire. Information sticker on door clearly states the requirements which are a 10 ply 80 psi max tire. I further discovered that the 5o max tires had been inflated to 80 psi upon giving it to me. The dealer should know better than this and should have definitely caught this mistake before releasing my truck as it was clearly an unsafe condition. After much inconvenience the correct tires were finally installed after which I had to specify the exact tire it required. I have total confidence in this shop and don’t think I’ll use it again. Totally disappointment! More
