My car was making a squeaky sound coming from the front passage side. I am planning on taking a long trip in a couple of weeks so I wanted to get this taken care of immediately so I made an appointment wit passage side. When we arrived and explained to the attendee what was going on, I was told that a diagnostic could be done on it for $150. I asked the attendee if they performed the repairs on my vehicle would the diagnostic cost be removed from the repair cost and was told No that there was a fee for the diagnostic (other companies will use this cost with the repairs if they do them). Then I was told what the problem was But they would not be able to do it because that part was on a six month back order. So I am out of $150 and still need my car repaired and they can't do it - what a waste of time and money. Also, my vehicle was very close to having an oil change and tire rotation. They suggested I get the 60k required service which was $110 (oil change, tire rotation, free car wash and multipoint inspection -which I get on every oil change for $63 at Hendrick), I am really good at keeping up the maintenance on my car and was surprised by the price of this service as I left this service department and went back to my preferred dealership. I was able to get the needed repairs and the other service done in the same day with No Problem. I do not like saying never but it will have to be the last absolutely last choice to come back to McDaniels for any service. Overpriced and couldn't even provide the service needed. Very Disappointed More

I received an email that my RDX was due for service - 6 month check. When I called the dealer I told them that the car had under 3000 miles on it. A very nice lady scheduled an appointment for me. When I drove to the dealership for this appointment I was told that my car would NOT need service until I had 5000 miles on it. I would think that the in house training would include telling people who schedule service appointments that if the customer clearly states the mileage of the car during the conversation - they would tell them to call back when the car has reached the correct number of miles. It is at least a 40 minute drive each way for me so therefore I wasted 1 hour and 20 minutes for nothing. I suggest training to correct this issue and prevent it from happening in the future. More
