My overall experience at Texas Motors Ford was a great one. Michael Hood was patient with all my questions and never made me feel pressured to buy anything. Nathan did a good job of explaining the leasing option to get me into the vehicle I wanted at the payment I could afford. My only complaint, and an unavoidable one at time was the long wait to visit with the finance department. However, Robert was efficient and kind, even offering me a much needed beverage after the long wait. I appreciate how he was through but quick. My only suggestion would be for clients that are obviously going to be waiting for 2-4 hours to simply sign paperwork, have drinks, snacks, and comfortable seating or even the option to arrange an appointment time as to be a much more comfortable and efficient use of everyone's time. More

I was moving to the Ft Worth area and researched car dealers on line, reading the ratings and comments provided by customers. He listened to our needs and did not try to sell us a car we did not want. He knew his cars and had done his homework to prepare for our visit. He was courteous and professional. We will probably move back to Illinois in 3 years and when we do I will return to this dealer if Vinny is still there. We want to buy a new 150 truck for the move back. Thanks Vinny! More

I was in the market for a new F150 Ecoboost and I spent several days researching prices and dealerships. I was browsing the lot when Gerald introduced himself to me, while preparing another car to be sold several days researching prices and dealerships. I was browsing the lot when Gerald introduced himself to me, while preparing another car to be sold to a different customer. It was impressive to me that he would take 5 seconds to introduce himself, while he was assisting another client. After browsing and not seeing what I was looking for, I spent the next day calling and visiting dealers, including Gerald. I told Gerald what I was looking for and what my budget was, and he immediately got to work. Many of the sales reps that I called at other dealerships did not even call me back, so I didn't care what their price was. If they can't give me a call back, they must not want to sell a car. Gerald sent me pictures of a truck that was within my price range, which I must admit I used a leverage with other dealerships. However, I came back to Gerald because he seemed excited and eager to sell me a truck. Nobody else displayed any sense of urgency whatsoever. After all was said and done, I spent more money on a different truck because Gerald made the car buying experience easy for me. Although he was not willing to give away the farm, he was reasonable in what he offered, which made me feel like I was getting a fair deal. Lastly...nobody wants to purchase a car and feel like they are dealing with the mysterious Oz "Wizard of Oz". When a client visits a dealership, they want the sales rep to be confident in what can and can't be offered. When a sales rep has to go "talk to the manager", it sends a message to the consumer that they can't make the final decision. If that is case, why don't consumers just speak to the manager every time they need to make a purchase, and cut out the middle man. I say this because Gerald was confident in what he could offer, and even though he did ask the manager a few questions, he always told me he would find a way to make the deal work...which is what he did. More
