From the moment we pulled into the lot we both knew that the normal dreaded car buying experience wasn't going to be so bad ....Gerald meet us in the lot & our car buying experienced started off on a great the normal dreaded car buying experience wasn't going to be so bad ....Gerald meet us in the lot & our car buying experienced started off on a great note - we were pressed for time & was just wanting to know the price range on a Ford Escape - after a few minutes of conversation - Gerald ask us when we could come back so that he could provide us with some detailed information about the Ford Escape - as Ford has so many features & safety features to review that it would take a little while to demonstrate. We agreed to come back on Tuesday .........Tuesday - Gerald was very detailed on the many features & taking his time to explain our intended purchase. After a test drive - with just the wife & myself - we proceeded to review the financing possibilities & an opportunity to get to know Gerald. We didn't have our trade-in with us & wanted to review our meeting thus coming back on Wednesday. Gerald spent additional time in explaining the over night questions which resulted in us purchasing a 2014 Ford Escape. We found the dealership staff very friendly & attentive to our presents & didn't leave us wondering what was next. We were considering a different manufacturer - of which we have owned before & currently - however; the lack of professional customer service made this decision easier to handle. We both can say that Geralds attention to details & answering our questions - not rushing us - not having to negotiated the price - is what lead us to purchase our new vehicle. Let me start by saying, I talked and visited two other dealers that would not or could not come close to where I wanted to end up with my payments. and neither of them had the selection that I was looking dealers that would not or could not come close to where I wanted to end up with my payments. and neither of them had the selection that I was looking for. I called Texas Motors Ford after I had gone to their website and emailed and spoke with Eric on the Friday before my wife and I were to depart. I called Saturday afternoon from Post Texas after working all night. I talked with Lynn Self, "Big Tex", for a short time. He told me (in a very friendly voice) that he knew where Post was and for us not to worry about what time we were going to arrive, to drive safely and not to worry, that he would be there waiting on us to arrive. We showed up at the dealership, at approximately 5:30pm and we were warmly greeted. We were anticipating on meeting Eric, but we were told that Eric was ill and that Lynn would love to help us. "Big Tex" was as pleasant and friendly and hospitable as you would expect a Texas gentleman to be. Lynn made us very comfortable by speaking with us in a genuine way to find out what we were looking for in a vehicle, what we were going to use it for (primarily) and just everything about the vehicle we wanted. Well I'll tell you what, after me rambling on and on, Lynn said to us, "Well, why don't you come outside with me, and let's take this truck out here , for a ride". Well we walked down a short hallway and opened the door to go out. Let me tell you I was beside myself when I saw my Blue Denim Metallic ,4 door F150 Lariat there! I was so pleased with what I saw...and when we went out for a ride OMG what a truck. It was the color I wanted, and had everything I asked for. Lynn answered ALL my questions before during and even after the sale. We finally got down to the nitty gritty of the deal, and Lynn and the entire finance team came together to get me in the price range I was looking for at the end of the deal. The other dealers, started were Lynn and your team ended. When all was said and done I would like to say this, if the rest of the sales staff is even 1 tenth the salesman Lynn is, ya'll should be #1 all the time. You are with me.
