Give Chance a raise Our Mazdaspeed3 went in for an oil change and I inquired about an airbag light that had been present since we bought the car from Courtesy. Chance un Our Mazdaspeed3 went in for an oil change and I inquired about an airbag light that had been present since we bought the car from Courtesy. Chance understood it was going to take longer than normal service time and he saw I had my 2 year old son with me, so he set us up with a loaner to take in the mean time. They did the diagnostic and later informed me the part we needed was on backorder and had no estimated time to be shipped because it had been discontinued. He didn't sugarcoat the details of the situation, and didn't give me unrealistic timelines that he couldn't deliver. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the repair done at Courtesy with Chance, but will be going back for service there as long as he's there. We were fortunate enough to find the part at McDonald Mazda in Lakewood, so we ultimately decided to just have them service the car since they had the part, and we would have had to drive down there anyway. Chance is relatively new to Courtesy, but they did a great job in hiring him for the service department. The situation could have gone south, but Chance made sure to maintain constant communication with us throughout the process, and that made the biggest difference. More
