I had an extremely disappointing experience with the sales leadership at Greenfield Chevrolet while attempting to purchase a high-end vehicle. I reached out regarding a potential trade involving my 2 sales leadership at Greenfield Chevrolet while attempting to purchase a high-end vehicle. I reached out regarding a potential trade involving my 2017 Mercedes S63 and a 2024 Camaro ZL1 they had listed. From the start, I made it clear I was a serious, ready-to-buy customer and simply wanted to align on key deal terms before committing to a 2-hour trip each way. That never happened. Communication was consistently vague and unproductive. Despite multiple attempts to have a straightforward discussion around pricing, deal structure, and market comps, I was repeatedly pushed to “come in” without any meaningful information being provided. This is not how serious transactions, especially at this price point, should be handled. Sales Manager Aaron Dalpe, my initial point of contact, refused to engage in any substantive discussion around pricing. Basic, reasonable questions were consistently sidestepped in favor of generic responses and repeated pressure to come into the dealership. What stood out most wasn’t just the lack of transparency, it was the lack of professionalism. At this level, how you present, communicate, and handle serious buyers matters. In this case, those fundamentals were clearly missing. If I were the owner, this is not someone I would have representing my dealership especially on high-value transactions where trust, clarity, and competence are critical. I specifically requested actual sold data to justify the $93,000 asking price. Instead of providing real transaction comps, the dealership relied on active listings and unsupported claims. At one point, I was told the vehicle was worth $20,000 over MMR, yet no verifiable data was ever provided to support that statement. To be clear, I submitted a legitimate, all-cash offer above MMR and was ready to move immediately. This was not a lowball situation. It was a serious offer grounded in real market data. Based on my own research, including auction results and confirmed sales, comparable 2024 Camaro ZL1s (non-special edition, similar spec) are trading in the mid-to-high $70K range, not anywhere near the inflated number being presented. The most concerning part of this experience was the complete lack of transparency. There was a clear reliance on aspirational asking prices rather than actual market reality, which creates a misleading buying environment. Management communication only made things worse. After initially stating they wanted to stay engaged, my follow-up was ignored. General Manager Scott Martowski ultimately responded with a dismissive “Will do. Have a great day,” which effectively shut down the conversation without addressing a single concern. At this level, professionalism, transparency, and data-backed pricing should be the baseline, not the exception. Instead, this felt like a dealership more focused on protecting an inflated number than engaging in a serious, honest deal. Buyers beware: do your own research, demand real sold comparables not listings and be cautious if you encounter the same lack of transparency and communication I experienced. More
My car was not repaired and I had to pay for it to be repaired again. They also left the sway bar links off of my car, and it was flying all over the road on the highway as I left for Rhode Island shortl repaired again. They also left the sway bar links off of my car, and it was flying all over the road on the highway as I left for Rhode Island shortly after. I had to pay over 200$ to fix them. Then another 200$ in diagnostic fees because they returned my call months later. I just wanted it to go back to them to actually repair the issues that they didn't fix but charged me for. Also brake issues after they repaired them, smoking brakes and rotors that I had removed and replaced after they said they were faulty after I had them literally smoking. Hundreds in rental car fees because my car couldn't be turned on because of the faulty brake booster and sway bar links off. Also shock and strut they claimed to have repaired was still leaking. Very fishy. Now threatening legal action because I disputed the charges. (I won because I had papers stating repairs were not done and still needed repair and I went to two different places to confirm this just to be sure before I disputed the charges!) Sorry I'm not paying for repairs that weren't done and also risked my children's safety leaving components off that control stability. If it were one thing that maybe didn't get fixed I'd say it was a fluke but this is pretty crazy. More
A few days ago I was having a bad day, no ac and a dead battery. I stopped by Greenfield Chevrolet late afternoon and the kind men in the office took no time coming to the rescue. I was told I was bein battery. I stopped by Greenfield Chevrolet late afternoon and the kind men in the office took no time coming to the rescue. I was told I was being given a ride home(Shelburne Falls), and told I would be picked up when the car was ready. The same nice man picked me up as the day before and my car was parked outside, ready for the trip home. I can’t tell you how much this meant especially since the temperature was close to ninety! Thank you Greenfield Chevy and thank you Mr. Shaw for the ride. Susan Budrewicz More

I am extremely dissatisfied with the treatment I received at McGovern. My car was towed there by GM Roadside Assistance since it was the nearest Chevy dealership when my vehicle broke down. The issue with my at McGovern. My car was towed there by GM Roadside Assistance since it was the nearest Chevy dealership when my vehicle broke down. The issue with my car is covered under warranty. I did not purchase my car from this dealership, and three different people made a point of reminding me of that. When I mentioned to the General Manager that they are Chevy and GM, he firmly responded, “Absolutely not. I am an independent dealer.” On a positive note, David in the service department was professional and thorough. I expect he will provide excellent service - if you purchased your vehicle from them.
