He let me test drive a few models by myself and was not pushy in any way. He did a great job researching availability of other Wranglers in the area but in the end gave me such a great deal on a Wrangler that was on the lot that I couldn't pass it up. He also helped me out with ordering and installing a few options that I wanted on the Jeep when it was delivered. I usually know exactly which car I want which makes the buying process simple for Just purchased a 2015 Jeep Renegade from Mike Gerber at Acton Jeep. I usually know exactly which car I want which makes the buying process simple for me and for the dealer. This time I was very undecisive. I was looking for a fun, small, commuter car and based on my preferences and the car reviews online I thought that I would prefer a base Renegade (Sport) with a manual transmission. I stopped by Acton Jeep on three separate occasions to look at the Sport with a manual tranny. Mike took the time to show me the car and all its features, I had plenty of time to examine the interior and exterior, and we went on two test drives. Somehow I was still not thrilled with the manual Renegade. I was about to give up and then Mike suggested we drive a used 2015 renegade Trailhawk (higher trim level) with an automatic transmission which was in a similar price range. I took it for a test drive and knew right away this was the right car. We worked out a great price for my trade and the Renegade and sealed the deal. I rotate cars pretty quickly and also help my friends with car decisions so I am well familiar with the buying/selling process (numerous times a year). At most dealerships there is a clear senses that they are pushing to make a sale, and the faster that happens the better. What impressed me most about Mike and Acton Jeep in general, is that they are not pushy and they don't get in the way. They are there to help if you need it and will happily answer any questions that you may have, but they don't pressure you, they let you take the time to find the right vehicle. This helpful attitude seems to extends to other sales people also, based on my positive interaction with Gus Hilderbrand, who showed me the Renegade on one of the drop-in visits when Mike was not there. I recently spoke with my friend who is also a car enthusiast and realized that he purchased a Wrangler from Mike at Acton Jeep just a few months back. Both of us had the same positive impression of Mike and the dealership. They are honest, patient, and professional. I happily recommend them. More

A Pleasant Experience I had decided, well beforehand, that I was going to buy a Wrangler Unlimited. I set about, as most do, researching the vehicle and the expected costs I had decided, well beforehand, that I was going to buy a Wrangler Unlimited. I set about, as most do, researching the vehicle and the expected costs through the Jeep website and other aids such as Truecar to get a better feel for what to expect. Getting estimates online confirmed much of the cost research, but much about the buy process is about the gut feeling you get dealing with the individual salespeople and dealerships. I had been in contact with several other dealerships, but once I talked to Lou Angelli from Acton Chrysler Jeep, I stopped dealing with other dealerships. Wranglers, being as near to a Harley-Davidson as one could be in the automotive industry, carries alot of the peculiarities of that brand in terms of pricing, negotiation and lifestyle, xxxx, Wrangler folk even wave to each other like H-D riders do! Still, Lou greased the rails for the process, even knowing he had 3-percenter on his hands. My wants for my Wrangler were very specific, and, as it turns out, rather rare (especially wanting a manual tranny). Lou tried his best to find something to fulfill my desired load-out, but ultimately, had to have one ordered from the factory. We quickly hashed out the financial matters and he prepped me for the anticipated wait. Once the Firecracker Red beauty showed up, Lou quickly as he could with my erratic schedule, had me plopped in the drivers' seat and quickly and comprehensively ran me through the vehicles features, He then implored me to 'get out of there and enjoy the heck out of your Jeep!' as my normally even demeanor was clearly getting excited to get that bad boy out on the street. Overall, the experience at Acton Chrysler Jeep was a pleasant, low key affair, with everyone you come into contact with being very friendly and doing that little something to acknowledge you're in their orbit. Sometimes, that little "hello" is not quite so little, after all. Quick note: I only rated the areas I have had contact with as of now. More
