Yesterday was the fifth (yes: fifth!) new car I have purchased in the last 3 years in MA and the experience we had at Honda in Everett will clearly qualify as "as good as it gets"! We dealt directly with Sale Manager Alex Avanesau (who assigned a sale person for the final paperwork after details were finalized with him. All the details of the purchase and lease were finalized in short phone calls and a couple of emails. After I stated my needs and position carefully (tip: you need to approach a dealer knowing EXACTLY what is it that you want!), his first quote was BY FAR better than the competition and when we got to crunch time (paperwork and payment) not a cent was added and no games were played. I chose a car from the inventory (online) and emailed the VIN - this car was ready for delivery when we got there. Upon arrival to the dealership Alex was courteous and friendly. The sales person assigned was efficient and nice. Paperwork was taken care of in a timely fashion and even the financial guy (the one whose role is to sell you insurances, accessories, protection plans, covers and a variety of other usually unneeded item in a total price that can buy you another car) was as nice and not pushy as they come. But finishing such a review about a car dealership without some criticism is not really in my nature so I finally found something vicious to say about them: Guys: your coffee sucks! Get a decent coffee machine! More

I also had the pleasure of working with John Fitzpatrick and Wendel Viana on delivery. Wendel handled the finance side of the transaction and didn't put a lot of high pressure sale on extras. He was very professional and got through the paperwork process quickly. John "Fitzy" Fitzpatrick walked me through all the features of the car during delivery and has since followed up on my new car experience. He made a very sincere offer to contact him at anytime after delivery if I had questions about the car. I highly recommend Honda Cars of Boston for your next car! More

Completely satisfied When I started car shopping, Honda cars of Boston was the first stop. John told me it was all I needed and I should have listened. After visiting numerous dealers, I was back at square one. It only took a final visit to see John when I got exactly what I wanted. He did all he could to get me the model, color, and price that I wanted. Not only was the service outstanding, his shining personality certainly made the experience less stressful. He even sat with me in the car for a while to show me all the little options that comes with my new whip! More

The staff there is superb, and I got a fantastic deal on my '16 CR-V thanks to Brian Nazzaro and Ben Crocker. Will continue to do business there in the years to come. More
Negative Experience with Sales and Service Dept. I purchased a pre-owned 2013 Honda Accord LX from Honda Cars of Boston back in May of 2016. When I was finally able to pick up the vehicle three days I purchased a pre-owned 2013 Honda Accord LX from Honda Cars of Boston back in May of 2016. When I was finally able to pick up the vehicle three days after purchase, I noticed that the car was not detailed as promised. The same scratches to the body and original scuffs to the wheels were still prevalent. The vehicle was also missing a rear headrest and the owner's manual in the glove compartment was ripped to shreds. It took the dealership two weeks to be able to provide me with a new owner's manual and rear headrest. The dealership also promised a full tank of gas and I picked up the vehicle with 1/4 of a tank. When I started driving the vehicle more regularly, I noticed problems with the CVT transmission and radio. When I switch from drive to reverse (still to this day!) for example, there is an abrupt jerk upon lightly tapping the gas. In addition, the car will surge forward upon coming to a complete stop. The first time I called the service department at the dealership about this issue, they denied that this was an issue and assured me it was a normal characteristic of the vehicle. Upon a quick internet search, I learned that there was a service bulletin for this issue (13-053), and once I mentioned this to the service department, they agreed to provide the fix for free, however, they did not provide me with a loaner/rental vehicle while the vehicle was in repair for a week. I drove the vehicle with a technician at pick-up and the problems did not occur immediately, but cropped up again only a few days later. I brought the vehicle back for a second time for the same problem, and they kept my car for two weeks and completed nothing. The only item listed on the service report was that the car was test driven for 50 miles and not repaired. Before this visit, I spoke to the sales manager, Joe Avilla, and he agreed to provide me with the original detailing provided in the purchase agreement and 6 free service visits due to previous negative experiences. After the vehicle continued to have transmission troubles, I began arbitration with Honda through the National Center for Dispute Settlement, which ultimately failed. I also inquired about a software update that would fix many of the audio quality issues, but apparently that is only available for higher trim levels with the additional touchscreen. At this point I am attempting to dump this vehicle for another brand because both Honda and Honda Cars of Boston have failed to provide me with quality service. Here is my synopsis of the vehicle having owned it for 6 months: 2013 Honda Accord LX Pros: Vehicle looks great. Logical dashboard layout. Steering and handling. Acceleration (in sport mode) Fuel Economy (29 mpg avg.) Cons: Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) provides jerkiness, surging, and an overall unpleasant driving experience. Audio System - the sound system in this vehicle is one of the worst I have ever heard in my life - the radio reception is bad for ALL FM stations, the speakers sound tinny, etc. - not much better with AUX cord or bluetooth - the screen also only displays only a few characters at a time of the music you're listening to on the radio despite the screen being enormous. No adjustable lumbar support - cannot find a comfortable position as a fit 5'9" male Suspension - car rides way too stiff. I purchased this vehicle when I was 20 years old with my savings and was financed without a cosigner. I also test drove the Mazda6 and Toyota Camry. Unfortunately I did not notice the audio problems or transmission problems on my test drive. Honda and Honda Cars of Boston have lost a young customer for life. Thanks for reading. More

John Fitzpatrick was also waiting for us when we arrived and guided us through the process of test driving the vehicle and the negotiations. All went well and we drove home in our "new" Honda.
