There was a minor but annoying leaking air of my rear passenger side tire. my Initial visits are fully professional with front tires/brakes service. done and with good service quality. but unfortunately, the minor thing was not solved until i met Manager Steven Walen yesterday, who listened my story patiently and in person checked the issue. and assigned it to an experienced Honda technician (Ryan) to get it fixed. I was so happy yesterday, He is very kind, gentleman and professional, plus most important of all, extreme knowledgeable and experienced in the field. He made me re-gain my confidence in this dealership. I will continue to use this dealer to service my Hondas. Thank you again, Steven and Ryan. from a happy customer. More

John Fitzpatrick was my sales consultant and he made sure I got the best deal possible! I told him what I was looking for and he helped pick out the perfect car for me. As well as he was great with customer service and has a great sense of humor! He is straight to the point and gives his honest opinion. I have gotten follow up calls and emails making sure that I love the car and that everything is going smoothly as well as making sure I didn't have any further questions. This shows me that he isn't just all about making the sale and he goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy, which I am! I also worked with Oscar Caicedo to finish the deal and he made the purchasing process go quick and easy! Thank you both for giving me a great experience. I recommend and will refer both of these gentlemen. 10 STARS for both of you. Thanks again! From you satisfied customer Raquel de Souza More

Sales consultant John Fitzpatrick knowledgeable, prompt, friendly. Told him we wanted a used Honda Civic, 2-3 years old, white, and had to stay within limited budget. 'Fitzie' directed us to 2013 Honda Civic LX, white, reasonable mileage after 3 year prior use. Vehicle had been detailed almost to perfection. Price quoted above budget. After consult with manager, price lowered within range. Even though used, prior experience with dealership gave us confidence vehicle was as represented, worthy of Honda brand. Tony A. More

Worse car buying experience ever!! Went to HCoB on 7/28/2016, with a $18,000.00 pre-approval draft note (which is like a blank check up to a specified amount) from Navy Federal Credit U Went to HCoB on 7/28/2016, with a $18,000.00 pre-approval draft note (which is like a blank check up to a specified amount) from Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) and test drove a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) car during my lunch break. I worked with the sales person, Luis Lopez, at that time. Luis was nice and being that I already knew what car I was interested in, he quickly pulled it out and we went for a test drive. Afterwards, I let him know that I already had a pre-approval and showed him the documentation to include the draft note. Luis took the documentation to show it to someone and then came back and mentioned that since I was using a draft note, I probably wouldn't be able to pick up the car until the following week. I told Luis that was fine since I had a rental car and that I will come back after work to finalize everything. So, I make my way back to HCoB after work and Luis is working with another customer. Luis then asks me if I can come back the next day but then offers to hand me off to another sales person, Joshua Rivera. Luis gives Joshua the car information and then I begin to explain to Joshua that I have a pre-approval draft note for $18,000.00 from NFCU and that I will be using that to purchase the car. Joshua explains that he is new and requests to take the documentation up to the manager. When Joshua comes back, he tells me that the manager said they do not take draft notes. Stunned, I ask why and Joshua replies with a little attitude, "I don't know, the manager said we don't take those!" I tell Joshua that I wish someone would've told me this when I came during lunch because I wouldn't have come back. I then call NFCU and explain the situation to the representative and she seems confused. She tells me that the draft note is just like a check and that she doesn't know why the dealership is refusing to accept it. She then mentions that the dealership may be trying to get me to apply for financing through them, which I have no interest in doing. The representative then tells me that they can cut a check made out to the dealership and fedex it but they will need a hard agreement with all the numbers. I tell Joshua this and he goes to speak to the manager and then comes back and says the manager is okay with that. So I ask Joshua if they will be able to hold the car and he begins to talk about how its close to the end of the month and that's he not sure if he can hold it if someone else is interested. So I ask him to ask the manager. So Joshua leaves and then comes back and says that they can hold it with a $500 deposit. I agree since I really like the car and I know I will have to pay $1300 out of pocket anyway since the price exceeds my approval by that amount. So Joshua goes back up to the manager and then comes back and says the manager said they will need $1000 deposit instead. So I am starting to get irritated but agree since that now means I only have to pay $300 later on. So Joshua walks me over to the cashier and I pay my $1000 deposit. We then walk back to Joshua's workstation and I have a seat. He walks away and then comes back and tells me I'm done and they'll see me Monday (that's when the fedex'd check from my credit union was expected to arrive). I kindly remind Joshua that I need a hard agreement so I can contact my credit union and have the check cut to the dealership. He then walks back over to the manager and then comes back to me and tells me that the manager says I will have to come back tomorrow. That was the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak! I was livid and told Joshua that I was done and demanded a refund of my deposit. Joshua asked me to hold on and that he would speak to the manager. However, instead of "holding on" I followed Joshua to speak to the manager so I can get my deposit back and take my business somewhere else. The "manager" that Joshua had been speaking to was Joseph Avilla. Joshua began to tell Joseph that I was asking for a refund and Joseph asked me why. I told Joseph that I felt like I was having to jump through hoops to try to purchase a car from them and that I felt like there was little regard for my time. I also mentioned that I had come during lunch with the draft note and now I'm being told that the dealership doesn't accept them. Joseph attempted to apologize and began to tell me that they have processed a lot of draft notes from NFCU in the past and it has taken close to 30 days for them to pay out. I told Joseph that if that was the case, then that should've been communicated to me when I came during lunch. Joseph then attempts to apologize again and offers to handle my case himself. I decline and tell Joseph that I just want a refund of my deposit so I can leave. Joseph then makes a note on my deposit receipt and hands it to Joshua and tells him to take me back to the cashier for my refund. Once the refund is processed, I head back to my car where Joseph meets me and begins to apologize again. He again tells me that he will handle my case and gives me his business card. He also tells me that he we deliver the agreement to my work as I work 5 mins away from the dealership and that he will also throw in two free oil changes. However, I was done with HCoB and left with no intentions of providing them with my business. The next day, 7/29/2016, Joseph called me that morning to see if I was still interested in the car. I told him that I decided to purchase from another dealership and he offered future assistance and the call was done. That evening, I went to Fafama Auto Sales in Milford and purchased the same year, make, and model vehicle without any hassle. The manager at Fafama was able to get the draft note approved in less than 10 minutes by calling NFCU with the vehicle information and having me sign it. So I signed the contract that evening. Also, the draft note was paid to Fafama on 8/3/3016, 5 days (including the weekend) after being deposited. More
