I brought in my car for a recall and it ended with a service guy yelling and berating me. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but... They ran a diagnostic and found $3000 worth of additional "problems" service guy yelling and berating me. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but... They ran a diagnostic and found $3000 worth of additional "problems" with my car, then tried to charge me at least 4x compared with my local mechanic. (My car had just been in for service two weeks prior with none of these problems.) If you inflate costs, charge for a diagnostic without disclosing a price for that, then yell at a customer and insult them by saying they don't understand how cars work, you lose me as a customer. I'm allowed to question their charges. Note: they claim that they told me the price of the diagnostic beforehand, but they just pushed an iPad in front of me, scrolled down, and said initial here. Ten seconds. Lesson learned, but that’s not transparent. Who would pay $235 just to look at a faulty windshield wiper? That's crazy. That number was never disclosed. Why should you listen to me? This is the first bad review I've ever posted on this site. More
