Do not buy from here! If they have the vehicle you are looking for, trust me you are better off waiting for a similar one to come on at a different dealership. Where to If they have the vehicle you are looking for, trust me you are better off waiting for a similar one to come on at a different dealership. Where to start? Negotiated our vehicle and price prior to arriving, we show up payment is slightly more than was told day before. We look at the vehicle, inside is filthy. What dealership does not detail the interior? Dirt everywhere. Our "salesperson" travis, I guess because we Negotiated prior to coming, acts like we arent even there. We drove over an hour, they knew this and just tried to take advantage. You are a number to them that is. Prior to arriving we called our insurance so it could be transferred but Mcgovern had to send them paperwork when we signed. Mcgovern said they would, but because they are lazy/careless did not even contact our agent! This caused 2 trips to the rmv to register the car. As we leave, come to find out, the sales team must have taken our car out for joy rides because it had 500 more miles than was advertised or we signed for! Also could explain how dirty it was. Just droped $300 on an interior detail because they are that awful. More
Should have been an easy sale for them given my financial situation, but it was definitely not a pleasant experience. Very adversarial approach. The salesman continually made me sit and wait 15-20 minutes ea situation, but it was definitely not a pleasant experience. Very adversarial approach. The salesman continually made me sit and wait 15-20 minutes each time he went behind some counter "to discuss with his manager". They want the customer to feel that the dealership has all the power, all the control in this transaction when it should be a mutually beneficial partnership. Instead of getting a receipt for my deposit, was told the cashier was unavailable, he would e-mail it. Two days later I went back (after finally receiving the emailed photo of the receipt that morning), and was told the "deal" offered on their website was only available for cars that were physically on the lot, but they had none - seemed very fraudulent. After further discussion about their greedy $2,500 "market adjustment" and higher financing rates I cancelled the order and requested my deposit check back. Alas, another 15-20 minutes sitting and waiting. I'll never recommend them to anyone. I then worked with a dealer that does NOT do any "market adjustments" and whose honest staff who are much more respectful toward their customers. More
We worked with Patrick Accorsi. He knew we had been looking for a a safe vehicle for my sister. She a single mom and it’s been so hard to find the right vehicle at the right price in this crazy market. looking for a a safe vehicle for my sister. She a single mom and it’s been so hard to find the right vehicle at the right price in this crazy market. We had been looking for a good part of the Summer and Patrick was really patient sending us options. We found the perfect vehicle and Patrick made the whole process simple. He went the extra mile for sure getting the car looking showroom ready and even got us a huge bow for when we surprised her. So grateful for all of Patrick’s hard work and for the team at McGovern. This won’t be the last time we use this dealership. They are trustworthy and we would especially recommend working with Patrick. More
I went to register my used subaru that I bought from Mcgovern and they told me at town hall that I would need a Previous Title Number and Previous State of Origin. Apparently it was missing from my Titl Mcgovern and they told me at town hall that I would need a Previous Title Number and Previous State of Origin. Apparently it was missing from my Title Application. I called and spoke with the Title Clerk Kristina(?). When I asked her for the info, she said the info was not in yet. I responded that this was the last day to drive on my temp plates. The woman came unhinged and started shouting: I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN ITS COMING IN, I DONT KNOW WAHT TO DO!!!!! and hangs up. She calls back 2 mins later apologizing frantically. She is saying that a bunch of people were talking loudly in her office. I told her that the shouting was unnecessary as I am a customer. She apologized like 10 more times and we ended the call. Mcgovern needs to either give some customer service training or loosen the pressure on this individual. She literally snapped after being asked a simple question. All of you Car dealers record your phone calls, go listen. More
BUYER BEWARE: Very very very bad experience. They told me I wouldn't have to pay sales tax due to the trade in vehicle being more valuable that the purchased vehicle. They were wrong and it cost me 1100$ out I wouldn't have to pay sales tax due to the trade in vehicle being more valuable that the purchased vehicle. They were wrong and it cost me 1100$ out of pocket. Unprofessional, pushy, over promise and under deliver. I was hoping they'd be different Your, but its just Your typical shady car dealer with no care for the community, just money. You may get a "deal" just check your paper work and make sure the number on the contract matches the number they promise. Ill be going to Tri-City to service it. More
The Organization at McGovern Subaru is a mess. Techs are allowed to order replacement parts for personal use, which is fine, yet nobody is there to ensure they are taking the proper or their parts home. Who allowed to order replacement parts for personal use, which is fine, yet nobody is there to ensure they are taking the proper or their parts home. Who is ensuring Fraud protection? Nobody? I discovered this issue when I went to have a part replaced under warranty. I went three times only to have the part not available, on order or taken home by mistake. Let's talk Warranty on a used vehicle. We were sold a 4 year, Bumper to Bumper, including all electronics and computers, warranty. This was sold to us by one of the Toyota Financial Officers from the McGovern Toyota of Nashua Dealership. Needless to say, when we went to use the Warranty, it did not exist. We already made a payment on the contract and we wanted this warranty. We are still working on this issue. The Secretary of State for NH may need to get involved. Updates to come. More
STAY AWAY. SHADY SHADY SHADY .Absolute worst (attempted) car buying experience. Made an appointment to see a used car. Showed up for the appointment, sales staff seems to have no idea I had even made an appointment (even though it was confirmed verbally and via text) and the car is out on a test drive. Salesman tries to sell us a different car. After 20+ minutes of waiting, car we came to see finally comes in. Test drive it and want to purchase. Salesman goes to sales manager and comes back a tries to sell us a ceramic coating before even sharing price. Try to negotiate and saleman points out "that price includes two oils changes and two tire rotations worth about $320-$330, we could take that out" I say "OK, redo the numbers with that taken out". He comes back and they have taken $120 off. Now I'm really pissed. "Finance Manager" comes over. asks whats going on so I relate the whole story. He basically says "sorry, best we'll do". We leave. About halfway home, they call to tell me I left my registration there. I had never given anyone my registration. Didn't know they had it. Salesman had taken it out of glovebox when they appraised my trade but never even told us. Remember this is COVID time. My wife was in tears by the time we left. I have bought a lot of vehicles for myself and my business and have never been treated this poorly. Go to the staff page on their website...most of the staff don't have pictures, likely because of the turnover. Experience could not possibly have been worse. More

Buying a car after an accident took me three weeks of searching the eastern seaboard having to put up with numerous shady dealerships and salespeople is more stressful. Just horrible experiences almost all around until I got to McGovern. It started with AP Theodore and his assistance in setting up a time that worked for me to come in for an appointment. Then I negotiated a small discount on their already fair price with Christian Morillo over text and phone (Christian was super chill and not pushy at all). After driving for 7 hours Friday night in rain and traffic and overnighting in Boston, I drove up to NH the next morning and besides the speeding ticket I deservingly got on the way, I had a great experience. Christian had the car detailed and ready to go in short order upon my arrival. There was absolutely no last-minute surprises or anything we hadn't already discussed. No hard sells, no negative anything. Only pleasant conversation, an offer of snacks and beverages and a test drive to make sure the car was as advertised. After that, I went into the finance office with Markus Perkins. Even if the salesman is good, the finance guy often tries to sell you lots of unnecessary add ons and turn a good experience bad. Not so here. Markus was as awesome as Christian. He went over the extended warranty with me but didn't try the hard sell or anything. He made sure all my documents were in order to ensure that my time in the NY DMV would go smoothly. After signing what I needed to we shook hands and I was on my way. In and out on a Saturday morning in under 1.5 hours. I wish all major purchases went so smoothly. Honest people and fair prices on quality vehicles. You could do a lot worse than shopping here. Thanks boys... keep up the good work. More
