I had them put on new tires the other day and was told by the service tech that they usually do an alignment when they put on new tires. I also was concerned that the brakes may be waring down. I told them that I was more concerned about the brakes, but if I need the alignment its ok to do both. I left and came back a half hour later and they were ready. Expecting the worst I looked at the bill. $88? I said I must be dreaming somebody pinch me. I said with a smile looks like the alignment and the brakes were ok? I was ready for a puzzled look and a, "whoops we forgot to check". But; without even taking a breath, he said nope the brakes are fine, you probably have another 10k on them and the tires were worn perfectly even no need for an alignment. I got up off the floor and said "you guys are amazing, I cant brag enough about you ". To top it off I always get a call for the service mgr (its recorded, but we can cut em some slack on that, after all who else even cares?), and am reminded that my satisfaction is important to them, and to call if there are any questions. Keep up the good work guys, there are some service places you can trust. Correction there is a service place you can trust. More

After Traded in a 2001 Outback for a 2005 Forester with a grand off. Paid $5,500.00 too much in October 2016. Didn't drive far, didn't do much in it. After 30 days, the lemon law expired and I learned how the, car needed $4800.00 worth of work on it. Got $500.00 trade-in at a better Subaru dealer in February 2017. Will never trust Village Subaru again. More
Poor customer service Highest pricing around, poor customer service and on top: attitude from the GM. Surprising - all other Subaru dealers in area were pleasant. I was interested in several vehicles and stopped by Village Subaru to test drive the Sti. Didn’t plan on buying it that day, but they made an offer I could not refuse, both for my trade and for the Sti. Very straightforward process. No pressure, great price up front, I was in and out in <1h including the test drive. In addition, Chris, the finance manager was very pleasant, got me a great interest rate on financing, and also did not try to sell a million options. Very happy I found Village Subaru and I highly recommend them. More
Sales ok, service dept lacking Bought the 2014 Forester new here. Been to the service dept 3 times. Once for the initial inspection (they wouldn't stay open a few minutes late Bought the 2014 Forester new here. Been to the service dept 3 times. Once for the initial inspection (they wouldn't stay open a few minutes late to do it the evening I picked the car up. The 2nd time was for the 3750 mile oil change. That was fine. But the playback portion of the USB connection didn't work, and they just looked at me blankly and argued that the aux port did, and the USB charging did, so everything was ok (which it wasn't). The 3rd time was because the rear lift gate had stopped working. It was just beeping 3 times. They reset it, sort of. The button next to the steering wheel works now, but the button on the gate, and the key fob still don't. So, unless it's warranty work, find a good local mechanic that takes some pride in their work. More

Brought it back 11 months later and they were very willing to work with me and help get me into a new car. I ended up leaving the same day with a 2015 Legacy. They sympathized with my situation, gave me a more than fair value for my trade and knocked the price down on the new car. Anthony and Chris also spent many hours with me on a busy Saturday to ensure I could leave with the new car the same day. Very good experience overall! More
No regard for the customer Really disappointed in these guys. We had a great experience during the sales process and bought a used Impreza for our daughter. We then bought a Really disappointed in these guys. We had a great experience during the sales process and bought a used Impreza for our daughter. We then bought a bike rack for her - and immediately realized it wouldn't work. Sales Rep (Jim H) said we could return or exchange the bike rack, but then stopped responding to my calls & emails to arrange the return or exchange. I brought the bike rack back (in the original box, all parts, undamaged, etc.) and was told I'd get a credit card credit. That didn't happen - and again Jim ignored my emails and calls. I then contacted the manager (John Olesen) who apologized and said he would take care of it. But he didn't. And he stopped replying to my emails and calls. These guys have a total lack of regard for customer service. Because of this little $160 issue they have lost years of service on this vehicle (we have always serviced our vehicles at the dealership that sold us a vehicle) - and another potential sale as my wife is in the market for a new Outback (as the sales guy knew). Ridiculous. More

The sales person shows you the car, says you can get a good rate depending on your credit score (our is excellent) you can get a good price for the car you want to trade in, at least 2500. you sign all the papers, and get all excited about the "deal" and then the accountant does his thing and can only give you a loan of 8% when they advertise 2.9% (something to do with what CHASE decides.) "out of our hands" then, sorry we cannot give you 2,500 for your trade afterall. so then you get only 500. if i had not been so desperate to get a car, i would have walked out. when i was leaving the owner of the company was looking over my very nice trade, smerking and laughing all the way to the bank. scoundrels. Friendliest dealership I have ever dealt with Bought a Forester one year ago from them. Came with my wife asking for an Outback, they gave us a key, we did a test drive, didn't like it. Were going Bought a Forester one year ago from them. Came with my wife asking for an Outback, they gave us a key, we did a test drive, didn't like it. Were going to leave, but decided to give Forester a try (there was no pressure, it was our decision). Liked it very much, Erik has helped to choose options (wasn't too pushy, just answered our questions we had asked), and submitted an order. It took a couple of months to get the requested configuration, but the wait was worth it and Erik kept us up-to-date during the entire wait period. A year later, we have had 2 service appointments with Village Subaru, they made it on time, as promised. Overall, we were pleased with both sales and service with this company. They will have our business as long as they remain as courteous and professional as they are now. More

If you voluntarily came to this dealership, after reading their yelp reviews then you probably deserved to get plowed by Village Subaru. I mean look at their Google reviews, 3 years ago? only 9 reviews in that time span? Well I wont' hold back any punches whatsoever considering the treatment I received and the condescending attitude of the salesmen (if you can call them "men") and the managers of this hole. Let me put it this way, this dealership encompasses ever single negative stereotype you can imagine in regards to buying a car. You can TRY and negotiate, it wont get you anywhere, you can try to have a fair assessment of your trade in, no dice. Could you believe that even with an excellent trade in vehicle with less than 15K miles, they told me that it would go straight to auction? It was a Subaru! So they wont even try and sell the car on their lot? that why I got an insulting value for my car? I have been around for a while and have seen pretty bad place, but in regards to nepotism and cronyism, this place takes the cake. The sales "person" was but a little messenger between his manager and myself. It was just the attitude as well, like if they didn;t even want to sell me a car. Maybe I didn't fit the little old lady demographic that they are used to. After all it looked a morgue in there and it smelled of cigarettes and cheap cologne. Do yourselves a favor and skip the headache, you will thank me. Unless of course you are a mindless sheep and don't care about being ripped off. With so many dealers vying for a chance to help, this dealership is only trying to take advantage, which is why I will say to anyone interested in getting a Subaru, to stay far far away from this place. Pro's: None Con's: Awful, awful sales representatives and managers, no car selection, overpriced, no wiggle room for any type of incentive, people who don't know the difference between a 2015 and a 2014. Ugh I could go on and on. After leaving here I felt like i need to get the slime off of me. TERRIBLE!! More
