Disappointed at the lack of response for my concern. Had an issue with the additional insurance where I could not get the car repaired after several attempts through several different repair shops. Finance manager told me to contact insurance rep who never got back to me. I have documented 13 online messages where I was told someone would be in touch to help and no one has responded. Requested to speak with the GM or Owner, and no one will allow this to happen, so they are covering up for the issues. Cancelled the insurance, was told to contact the insurance rep who could help explain the refund process and no one is returning my texts or calls. Simply put, people are intentionally blowing me off. Very frustrating, unprofessional and unacceptable. Word of mouth is so important to future business and it seems obvious to me, that hard issues to resolve go unresolved by McGovern. Sweep it under the rug and go on to the next person. Although the purchase of the car went well, the follow up on this has me 100% convinced that there is no backing of the business after the sale is made. I personally witnessed the stress and frustration of the employees in the service department who were trying to resolve a separate issue while I was at the facility. Seems like a management numbers game to achieve results at all cost, while underlying issues are realized, but either fall on deaf ears and/or not addressed at all. More
