I went in yesterday to buy out my lease- - it was the worst experience of my life! It took 3 hours and I was enraged by the time I left. The kept telling me 10 min- 15 min- 25 min-more and finally at 2 worst experience of my life! It took 3 hours and I was enraged by the time I left. But for some reason had taken the plates off my car - and then had to wait to have them put back on! They didn't even offer me free oil changes, The entire experience was horrible! More

McGrath kia for $65k. I asked them if I could get services from any McGrath dealership, because they were 2 hours away from my home; this is before I purchased the vehicle I asked them if I could get services from any McGrath dealership, because they were 2 hours away from my home; this is before I purchased the vehicle and I was told yes. When it was time to get my free oil change. I went to McGrath Acura and they gave me the hardest time. I was told that it would be better to go to McGrath Kia because they were unfamiliar with Kia and may not have what I needed for an oil change. I called McGrath Kia and told them what I was told. McGrath Kia called and I was able to get the oil change from McGrath Acura. Approximately 7 months later, I catch a flat in 1 tire and 2 bubbles in 2 separate tires. Needing 3 tires for my car. Thankfully, I had purchased the tire and rim protection plan. I called and spoke with a service rep and told them my problem. I was told to come in. Once I got there, I was told that they didn’t have my tires and that they would have them in by the next day. I requested a loaner, since I couldn’t safely move my vehicle without the chance of getting stranded with 3 flat tires. I was denied a rental, saying that the rentals were pre reserved for customers who needed to be serviced for 3 or more hours. fortunately they gave me a Lyft home. A one day wait, turned into 3 days. For 3 days, I requested a loaner vehicle and was denied. So I had to pay for a rental. When I finally received my vehicle, I was charged an additional $189. I was then asked if I wanted to pay an additional $150 for a tire rotation. I asked if I would get some kind of discount for the inconvenience and the service director Giacomo Spinnato told me no. He stated that all the dealerships were owned by different brothers and every McGrath was a separate entity, depending on who owned what. At this point I refused to spend another dime with the McGrath brand, and I told the service rep this. Once I paid and picked up my car, I proceeded to leave, when my 6 year old son noticed the black rim hanging in the back seat, as well as the basket being torn off the back seat. I pulled back to the service entrance to show the service rep. I was told to call back when Giacomo was there. Over the weekend I noticed that my rear view camera was very blurred and I could barely see out of it. Therefore when I talked to the service director Giacomo Spinnato, I informed him of everything. Giacomo stated that it didn’t happen in their shop and that if I have a warranty, I could take my car to Kia to get my rear camera looked at. This brand is a total nightmare. When you see that McGrath sign, please run, once they finish ripping you off with the high prices. They will show no loyalty to the customer. No matter how much you spend with them. And yes, I read all the reviews before I purchased the vehicle and obviously those individuals are friends and family, because I also spoke to another customer while I waited and she was saying that she was going through More
Brought the car in due to recurring problems with the steering, after having the steering worked on twice unsatisfactorily by a Goodyear repair shop. After a short wait we were invited into the office of Carlos Rangel, who listened carefully as we explained the entire history of the steering problems, and the previous unsuccessful and redundant repair attempts by others. When we were done Carlos arranged a ride home for us. The next day we received an email detailing the results of their inspection, diagnosis, and cost estimate, complete with a video of the car up on the lift with technician Ignacio B. pointing out the sources of fluid leakage and other damaged parts. Carlos called to discuss the options of doing the repairs with cheaper but more readily available aftermarket parts versus having a longer wait for original manufacturer’s parts, which might take two months or more to arrive. After considering overnight whether to get the 19-year-old car repaired at all, we called back the next day and told them to go ahead and order the better quality parts. Not expecting a status update for at least a month, we were delighted to hear from Carlos after only three weeks with the news that the parts had arrived and Ignacio would have it fixed and test-driven in a day or two. The service was excellent all around, and now we hope to keep driving it another two or three years. I will return to McGrath Acura for any future work. More
