I went to this dealership looking for a certified used black on black MDX with entertainment and technology packages. After searching on the Internet, I found the car I wanted advertised at McGrath and d black on black MDX with entertainment and technology packages. After searching on the Internet, I found the car I wanted advertised at McGrath and drove over there to see it. I spoke to Sean Cueva who showed me the car, and when I asked about the price, he immediatley quoted me a price 3K above what they were asking for on the Internet. He tried to BS me and say that it was a typo, but after some negotiations, we got to a reasonable point and tried to move forward. He then tried to charge me $600.00 to certify the vehicle which is a complete sham, tried to sell me every piece of garbage add-on that you can think of, and then tried to stiff me on an extra set of headphones for the rear entertainment system. Every single person that I dealt with at this dealership was worthless, and brought a new low and complete bottom to the term used car salesman. Nick Kabro who is the finance manager is another scam artist, he tried to stiff me with an extended warranty that was marked up 100%, and also tried to get me into a high interest loan to help pad his pocket. I have heard the same horror stories from people who have tried to buy new cars from this place as well. Save yourself the headache, and keep some extra hard earned money in your pockets, don't even bother going down to see these guys. I promise you, you will thank me later!!! More
So I had left my car at the dealer for the 105K service. It took longer than expected due to a couple cracked motor mounts. Well as the car was in their lot at about noon, someone went through the lot, looking at all the cars. I guess he saw my radar detector and iPod, so he broke my passenger window and took them. This was all caught on the security camera and the dealer immediately called the cops and filed a report. The service manager assured me that all repairs would be taken care of, including the tint that was on the window, and to provide a list of what was stolen. I had nearly $700 worth of things taken from the car (normally I lock it out of sight in the glove box, but forgot this time), and the dealer is paying to replace all that, plus a little extra for the hassle. I'm a very regular customer and they certainly are doing enough to have me come back! More
BAIT AND SWITCH. Went in to trade in my old car (lease) and get a new one. Finalized a deal in person 3 days earlier, they ordered my car from another dealr and I came in to swap cars and sign the lease. $ and get a new one. Finalized a deal in person 3 days earlier, they ordered my car from another dealr and I came in to swap cars and sign the lease. $800 in "fees" tagged on last minute. Didn't fly with me. Don't even bother going tot hem, you'll up agreeing on a deal and seeing the most insane figure for "fees" right as you are to sign the lease. I've read many other reviews saying the same thing. Don't think it won't happen to you too. Go somewhere else. More
I found a vehicle posted on these guys website, when I contacted the dealer I was informed by the salesperson that the vehicle was available to come in and test drive it. Did I mention the vehicle was li contacted the dealer I was informed by the salesperson that the vehicle was available to come in and test drive it. Did I mention the vehicle was listed at really low price? I drove 3 hours to check out the vehicle and as soon as I called the salesman to tell him that I was in chicago, he informed me that the car had been sold or at least there's a deposit on it and he could not sell it. But guess what? he happened to have the same year, model, and mileage I was looking for at a higher price. As soon as he told me that, I hung up the phone on him. I did speak to him later to tell him that I purchase another car from an honest dealer, Muller's Acura. These guys are not looking to make customers happy, just to fill their pockets at any cost. Yeah I know, I said it. MULLER'S ACURA!!! They're the real thing. More

Don't believe these reviews. They are fake. The dealers have their salesman go on these websites and write bogus reviews. These guys are pure con artists. Every stereotype about shady car dealers is true have their salesman go on these websites and write bogus reviews. These guys are pure con artists. Every stereotype about shady car dealers is true regarding this dealership. I talked to the internet sales person. DIscussed the price repeatedly. It was low, so I asked her at least a dozen times in several different phone conversations. She put me on hold, came back and said her manager approved of the price. I placed a deposit, came in with a certified check and magically the price changed by thousands. The sales girl wasnt there and somehow they couldnt get ahold of her. And surprise surprise, none of the managers recalled the conversation or the price I was given. Even though I spoke with her multiple times in the prior 48 hours. The manager consistently blamed me as if I was as fault. This is classic bait and switch. It's illegal. These put garbage. Stay away. More
After having a bed experience with Nissan and one of it's dealers, McGrath was a breath of fresh air! Not only did they offer the lowest price of any dealer I worked with, but they do truly treat you like a dealers, McGrath was a breath of fresh air! Not only did they offer the lowest price of any dealer I worked with, but they do truly treat you like a King. From Bauti's calm easy way of negotiating and doing business to the follow up calls from the dealership and service there is no doubt in my mind that choosing to do business with McGrath was the right choice. After I purchased my car I received a follow up phone call the next day to make sure I was truly satisfied with the experience. Then after the follow up Joe from service called to set up a time to install me remote start and moon roof visor. The installation went better than I could have expected with Joe providing me a brand new Acura as a loaner car and calling to make sure I was aware of the progress he was making. If you are looking for a trustworthy dealer who treats you like they value your business, you should look nowhere else but McGrath. More
My experience with this particular dealer was superb. Not only did the knowledge of salesteam impress and help me, but also friendliness and readiness to work together finding the best option possible. I was only did the knowledge of salesteam impress and help me, but also friendliness and readiness to work together finding the best option possible. I wasn't sure either to buy or lease a car; the finance representative,Josh, explained it all to me, giving me specific numbers and calculating all differences, all pros and cons for buying and leasing. Plus, he's a very funny guy who makes you feel like you're amongst friends. Rafal, who helped me from the very moment I walked in the dealership, is the best salesperson I've ever encountered. It took a lot of time for me to decide what to do and which car to choose ( literally... 5 days) and Rafal was the person who helped me the most understand my own situation and according options. The information he provided was accurate and I could base my decisions on it. Buying a car with him was a real pleasure, not a hassle. If I could suggest who you should pick as your salesperson, I would point out Rafal. I highly recommend McGrath Acura of Westmont and its VERY professional staff. /Emily R. More
I purchased a Acura MDX from this dealership in August of 2009. When I decided to purchase the Acura I was originally looking for the Rl however I could not locate one in a 300 mile radius. I came into the d 2009. When I decided to purchase the Acura I was originally looking for the Rl however I could not locate one in a 300 mile radius. I came into the dealership ready to purchase the MDX. I wanted a white one and my second choice was a dark cheery. Needless to say no luck on a white one so I got the price I wanted on the cherry MDX. While I was walking to the business office to purchase the vehicle (deal already worked out) sitting on the showroom floor is a white mdx that just came in. I immediately said hold off thats my car. Frank was wonderful and had so much patience with me. Needless to say I got my wanted vehicle with the price I wanted. Now for the best part. A month later I bring the car in to have some accessories put on in service. I go into the showroom and right before my eyes is the RL sitting on the showroom floor. The dealership got the luck to receive three of these bad boys and will not get anymore for the rest of the year. Frank and Dean knew what I was thinking and we started to talk. I got the deal of a lifetime on the Rl and traded my MDX in on the spot. Your probably all thinking I got beat on the loss of the MDX but I did not. I have been buying cars for many years know many people in the car selling business. I immediately started making phone calls and was told I was getting a great deal. These men treated me the way I expected to be treated. I could not ask for a better car buying experience and will continue to do business with this dealership and in my opinion they are highly recommended. I cannot answer about other salesmen but can say ALL DEALERSHIPS have lousy salesmen here and there. If you want to be treated fairly ask for these great guys and you wont regret it. I am a highly satisfied Acura customer!!!! More
First of all, I had a negative experience purchasing my Acura from this particular dealer. Typical salesman games, going back and forth from associate salesman to manager quoting different prices. It lit Acura from this particular dealer. Typical salesman games, going back and forth from associate salesman to manager quoting different prices. It literally took my 4 hours to get a fair price. In hindsight, I should have just left and never purchased the car from such dishonest and untrustworthy salesman. I took my car to the service department 11 months later for a simple oil change. When I left the facility, I immediately noticed a significant size dent and several scratches on the front bumper. I returned the car immediately, and yet the service manager and the service director refused to take responsibility for what happened, despite the fact that their own employee admitted that there was no dent on the car when I brought it in and that I certainly did not hit anything on my twenty minute drive to work when I left the facility. Most offensive however was the service manager, who was incredibly rude and accused me of trying to pull a fast one on them. Immagine the irony of this situation - an auto service manager (similar to car salesman), well known for being dishonest people, accusing a Catholic School Teacher of being dishonest! Look, mistakes happen. I have no problem with that. But show some integrity, honor, and class - take responsibility, fix the problem, and make it right. More
