Once again I have to complement Ryan (service rep), the service department and the dealership for their outstanding customer service and service. I have purchased a lot of new cars, from a lot of different dealerships, but I can not remember another dealership that was as committed to total service and ownership satisfaction. It all started from the time I purchased my ZDX, one of the best experiences purchasing a car in a long time. No pressure, explained everything, felt I was given a great deal and walked away thinking I was not taken. Next came when it was time for regular services, made an appointment time, got the car in, was given the option for a loner car, an option I appreciate and hard to find from other dealers (not that I take advantage of it but it is nice to have the option). I am given a completion time and I can not remember it taking any extra time then quoted. This is a credit to the service tech that knows his/her department & mechanics. Waiting in the new lounge area with the complimentary drinks & snacks, very nice, what else can I say about that. To top it off the best experience I have had is the attention I have received from Ryan in the service department. I am sure all of the service tech are great at there jobs, but the experience I have had with Ryan is that he goes above and beyond the normal to make sure I am satisfied and that my car is 100% when it leaves the dealership. From oil changes, to reapplying the paint protection, and if I have any questions he answers them. Last but not least is Ryan's commitment to customer satisfaction, i feel it is un-matched. My latest issue was with my rims. Even though my car is a 2010, the chrome on the rims (an expensive up-graded rim when the car was purchased new) started to peal. Ryan told me what new rims would cost, but said that before I bought new rims that he would investigate on what he could do through Acura & the dealership. In the end he was able to convince the higher powers and got the rims replaced. How much more can I say about the dealership and the service department (especially Ryan)!!! Knowledgeable and honest. I came here specifically because of ED DRYER. This must be a great shop if he works here. Facilities for customers waiting for service are EXCELLENT. The service at McGrath Acura Westmont is unequalled anywhere....so is their coffee! All service reps are professional and definitely worthy of praise. Great car dealership. We are repeat buyers now. Came in looking for a used car we saw on the internet for our daughter but it was sold. Sam was very helpful and asked our price range was and type of car w looking for a used car we saw on the internet for our daughter but it was sold. The car he suggested was great and we ended up getting it the next day. Never had a bad experience with this dealer. We always take our Acura there for service. Great people to deal with. So I had left my car at the dealer for the 105K service. It took longer than expected due to a couple cracked motor mounts. Well as the car was in their lot at about noon, someone went through the lot, look It took longer than expected due to a couple cracked motor mounts. Well as the car was in their lot at about noon, someone went through the lot, looking at all the cars. I guess he saw my radar detector and iPod, so he broke my passenger window and took them. This was all caught on the security camera and the dealer immediately called the cops and filed a report. The service manager assured me that all repairs would be taken care of, including the tint that was on the window, and to provide a list of what was stolen. I had nearly $700 worth of things taken from the car (normally I lock it out of sight in the glove box, but forgot this time), and the dealer is paying to replace all that, plus a little extra for the hassle. I'm a very regular customer and they certainly are doing enough to have me come back! More
First of all, I had a negative experience purchasing my Acura from this particular dealer. Typical salesman games, going back and forth from associate salesman to manager quoting different prices. In hindsight, I should have just left and never purchased the car from such dishonest and untrustworthy salesman. I took my car to the service department 11 months later for a simple oil change. When I left the facility, I immediately noticed a significant size dent and several scratches on the front bumper. I returned the car immediately, and yet the service manager and the service director refused to take responsibility for what happened, despite the fact that their own employee admitted that there was no dent on the car when I brought it in and that I certainly did not hit anything on my twenty minute drive to work when I left the facility. Most offensive however was the service manager, who was incredibly rude and accused me of trying to pull a fast one on them. Immagine the irony of this situation - an auto service manager (similar to car salesman), well known for being dishonest people, accusing a Catholic School Teacher of being dishonest! Look, mistakes happen. I have no problem with that. But show some integrity, honor, and class - take responsibility, fix the problem, and make it right. More
