When McGrath Elmhurst Toyota and the Elmhurst Auto Group opened our doors more than 40 years ago, the mission was simple. My 2025 Tundra Hybrid's engine seized in the middle of Nebraska driving back to Chicago and I had to have the truck towed to a dealership in Nebraska, which obviously was not Elmhurst Toyota where I bough Nebraska driving back to Chicago and I had to have the truck towed to a dealership in Nebraska, which obviously was not Elmhurst Toyota where I bought the truck brand new. I asked the service team if they could provide me with a loaner while my 8 month old truck was getting its engine replaced BECAUSE IT SEIZED IN THE MIDDLE OF A HIGHWAY and they said no. They wouldn't loan me a car because they weren't the ones fixing my truck. Didn't seem to care that that the vehicle they sold me stranded me on the side of a road 9 hours away and that I have no car now. Two different service people told me it was policy and nothing they could do. They could have turned a horrible situation for their "customer" into something good for them, maybe even winning a customer years to come, but they wouldn't. They don't take of their customers and even call backs were bad. Even when I was buying the Tundra, the sales person knew nothing about the vehicle, barely knew what she had in inventory as I had to show her online what they posted on Cars.com, but I looked past that. Now, horrible service on top of a vehicle (Tundra) that is having engines seize left and right, I can't recommend to anyone to buy a vehicle from Elmhurst. There are plenty of other dealerships out there. More

They honored their advertised price, did not push me to make a deal, did not pressure me to buy anything I did not want to buy. The salesman was pretty knowledgeable about the vehicle.
