My wife and I had a great experience purchasing our Highlander. Our salesman was very helpful, didn't play any games and was straight to the point. We appreciated that he called when he said that he wo Highlander. Our salesman was very helpful, didn't play any games and was straight to the point. We appreciated that he called when he said that he would call even if he didn't yet have an answer to our question. This was not the case with other dealerships. Someone reliable and not overbearing is important to us when purchasing our cars. More
Made arrangements to purchase 2009 Camry SE after seeing it posted on the website. Was assured by sales rep that the vehicle was in "very" nice condition and I would not be disappointed. Was told vehicle it posted on the website. Was assured by sales rep that the vehicle was in "very" nice condition and I would not be disappointed. Was told vehicle would be ready for pick up when I arrived. When my wife and arrived Rob (sales rep) was not in yet and was turned over to the used car manager, Mike Wishne. Mike brough the car around and for us to look at. Immediatley we could see the vehicle was not what they said it was. After a qquick once over we found many scatches, one small dent and a spot of rust begining under the paint on the rear quarter panel. Also the car was not cleaned inside or out, buffed out or full of gas like we were told it would be. Brought up the issues to Mike and was told that "all" black cars look this way as any blemishes are very noticeable. While talking I then notice the rear bumper does not look right. After further inspection I discover the color does not match the rest of the car. The bumper is a lighter shade of black and is orange peeled. Mike denies being able to see the color difference but after some conversation and pointing directly at the spot he admitts the color is not mathced. He then explains that black will be a different shade when sprayed on a plastic bumper vs a metal corner panel. I laughed at this and took him to the front of the car and pointed to the front bumper that was perfectly matched in color and without any orange peel. He then says the vehicles bumper was removed when they took it in used for repainting. I was not told this prior and asked why. Mike then claimed the dealership removes "ALL" the used vehicles bumpers that come in and have them repainted. YA RIGHT! At this point I knew my wife and I had made a bad choice in dealships and told him we were leaving and did nto want the car. He was not pleased. BUYER BEWARE!!! DO not trust these people! Save yourself a hasle and go to another non affiliated dealership. More

I have been a customer for some 10 years and over this time, Curt's service and communication have been second to none. I chose Curt and Elmhurst Toyota some 13245 Kilometers away over the local New Zealand dealer - yes, price is a significant factor, however has little bearing if the person you are dealing with does not effectively communicate or ship/pack the goods timely with care. Curt and Elmhust execced expectations here. Many thanks from a loyal customer. Regards, Marc More

Hello, My name is Mike and I would like to share with Hello, My name is Mike and I would like to share with you my experiences with this dealership. First and foremost I would like to thank the team o Hello, My name is Mike and I would like to share with you my experiences with this dealership. First and foremost I would like to thank the team of Elmhurst Toyota! It all starts out in the beginning of the yr. Around Feb. or Mar. of this year my girlfriend was looking for a car for her mother. Her mom was looking into the new Toyota RAV4. We decided to help her out and started car searching for the best price for her. Her mother lives in the Northside of Chicago in the Lincolnwood area. We decided to check out Grossinger Toyota which was about 5-10 min. from my girlfriends house. Boy let me tell you, we got treated very poor over there! if i could give them "NEGATIVE NUMBER" ratings I sure would! All that dealership wanted was your money. My girlfriend said "lets get out of here, i don't like this place!" They would keep calling her back and trying to convince her to get the car here. It made us feel very very pressured! We left, and then we came to ELMHURST TOYOTA! When we both walked in, we were greeted by one of the best and friendliest Toyota Team Toyota could ever have hired! They were all knowledgeable with the vehicles. We did not get our "chains pulled." We did not get pressured into buying the vehicle either! My girlfriend told the salesman "I believe his name was Mike" but i forgot his name. John Williams referred us to him. My girlfriend told Mike we were just at Grossinger Toyota and told him we were treated very poorly of at the dealership. Mike told us that we are in good hands here. Mike worked with us to get the price down to what we wanted. It took a little bit of time to get the price down to what we wanted but in the end we were both happy of the price we got the RAV4 for. The next story I would like to share with you happened Tuesday Oct. 18th 2011. My girlfriends brother was looking to trade in his old 03 Camry for a 2012 Camry. He went into Grossinger without our knowledge and he got treated badly and with no respect. When he told us this we decided to go straight to Elmhurst did not bother going to go to any other dealership besides ELMHURST. This time John Williams was there! John is a great person when it comes to car sales because he makes you feel very welcome, "as with the rest of the team at Elmhurst Toyota" we told him this time we are looking for a brand new 2012 Camry. We walked with him to his office and we all sat down, asked us if we would like something to drink. We got treated like family! He talked to us about the features the vehicle has and what options we wanted. He was very very informative about the vehicle as well, we talked for a little bit and we ended up getting the price of the vehicle for a great price and gave my girlfriends brother a good price for the trade in of his old Camry. All in all this is a awesome dealership to purchase your vehicle! They host customer appreciation for all the customers who have purchased vehicles from their dealership. I am not here to have a favoritism of this dealership. It's because I know how i want to be treated and these guys/girls deliver! I will be looking forward to purchase a new car from them in the future! To Kurt Schiele and Jim Magnelli, You have put a great team at Elmhurst! You guys/ girls always strive for excellence! You also treat all the customers with respect, and treat us as family. I wish you and your team at Elmhurst the best for you all now and for the future of your dealership. Kurt Schiele was even their working hard at night when other owners only show up for an hour or so and then leave for the day! So to all who are reading this review I challenge you to give this TEAM a shot! You may or may not end up buying a car over there but I am willing to bet you will be happy with how you get treated over there! My girlfriend and her family have purchased 2 Cars within around 8 months or so from Elmhurst and are glad they did! HANDS DOWN THE BEST TOYOTA TEAM PUT TOGETHER IN THE MIDWEST! Sincerely, Michael More

It was great working with Andy, he made the whole car buying experience enjoyable. He worked hard to find the missing key and floor mats. buying experience enjoyable. He worked hard to find the missing key and floor mats. More
Wow. My wife and I came from Naperville because they had great reviews, and we were not disappointed. Before we started negotiating, there was no pressure from our salesperson, Andy. He simply wanted to sho great reviews, and we were not disappointed. Before we started negotiating, there was no pressure from our salesperson, Andy. He simply wanted to show us the highlights of the car and address the concerns that we had. He brought out his manager (Mike) and they both assured us that the issues would be resolved without question (A/C was not quite as cold as we wanted and steering made a strange noise). So far, it was the sign of a good dealership, but nothing outstanding. Then we got to negotiating - that's where I was impressed. I made my first offer and instead of the usual *frown/concerned look* and salesman saying "I know we don't have that much in it so you'll have to do better," I received an "I'll see what I can do to help you out." What a difference. They countered, I countered, and it was done! Although the car was a Certified Toyota and covered under a decent warranty, we decided to extend the bumper-to-bumper warranty for 5 years - essentially locking in our cost of ownership for the next 5 years. We received a great value and can't wait to take our Rav4 on every weekend trip! Thank you for going "against the grain" in the used car sales industry. You treated us like you had been on the other side of the desk and didn't insult us with a ridiculous counter-offer. Outstanding! More
