My experience with McGrath of Honda was great! I went in for an oil change & a battery check. My advisor was Luis & he was very nice and polite. Checked me in quickly and answered all of my questions. He was upfront & told me how long the services would take & then walked me to the waiting area. After the services were completed, he reviewed what the technicians did, & again answered all of my questions. Checkout was quick, & then he walked me back to my CRV. He called me a few days later to ask how my CRV was doing and if I had any follow up questions. I’m very happy with both the customer service and the car service I received at McGrath Honda of Elgin. In 2012, I went to buy out my lease. They told me I had to get the car "certified" and pay $2,500.00 for that privelege. They had my car at least 4 days. When they finally told me they were done with it, it was in the exact same sport where it was left. When I asked them for the paoerwork to see what they did to the car, they refused to show me anything. I called the dealership 4 or 5 times after that, even leaving messages for the GM, no response. I mentioned that what they did may be illegal, then I got a call back. They still refused to give me any paperwork, and from what I saw, they did absolutely nothing but take my money. I had to give 1 star, but 0 would be more appropriate. More
