I have never had any noise wrong with this car since I leased it until I got it back with them.T They have had several chances to do the right thing, but they did not. They told me it was a shock that had gone bad. They saw a dent on that side of the car and said it was caused by that. Cerritos said the shock was $700 for the part alone. When I said I was not going to pay that, they said I should take it to a body shop. The body shop said the shock is mechanical, not body work. The dent has been there for a year and it has not done that. They were also supposed to reprogram my key which I paid for. They finally told me that I needed to do something myself to each personal setting for the car. I paid them to do this $160. They did reprogram it the 2nd time because I saw that they had changed my name and did not do it the way I was sure to write it. f I believe they also charged me more than they should have for my oil change. I paid $359 for an oil change. They said it was because I had missed the first 2. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THEY RUINED THE CAR.I smelled what smelled like burnt rubber when I left the dealership. I thought to myself that they must be right about the tires. It was not until my daughter got in the car and was going to wipe the seat off because of corona virus that she noticed what looked like a cigarette burn on the passenger front seat. They did not do their job and they are mad at me? I did report them to corporate, but this is unbelievable. they told me I needed 4 new tires and breaks on a receipt, but never mentioned it to me. Thank God I looked at my receipt thoroughly. DO NOT GO TO MCKENNA CERRITOS. THEY RETALIATE. More

Best Experience Ever! Devin was amazing. We were in and out the door in 3 hours. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the whole process was simple from start to Devin was amazing. Remember I drove my car in and Spencer asked if I wanted my car towed out!!! I Left the dealer without my car. Of course I had to call the dealer bc they are very poor at updating or returning phone calls. i then was told my “timing chain” has failed and the job is $6,500 but they would cover 80% since I’m a loyal customer. Paying anything out of pocket other than the service I went in for does not sit right with me being the car was in the dealers position and running perfectly fine. I did reach out to corporate and they were no help. Pretty much said the service manager has the last say. Here we are 8/23 and my car is still sitting at the dealer with no update other than it was supposed to be ready on 7/19 according to Jarod the service manager. Mind you I never got offered a “loaner” they fail to return phone calls/msg. This place is a nightmare indeed. I will never purchase a VW again let alone recommend anyone to this dealer specifically. I take my car to them for service and they always come out with BS Bad, bad service! I will be contacting someone to expose this dealer. More

I was discussing a lease turnover for my passat I leased in 2015 and after the tumbling of VW car values I was stuck with a car where I owed 50% more than the market value and McKenna did not even help me by making any decent deal but only giving me the price advertised. I had been a customer from 2011. Additionally when I mentioned the deal I got from Mazda, the Sales person said I was lying to him. And he is specially trained awarded salesman. I told the GM and he said we are sorry to see you go but never even asked me to sit and talk to him. What are these characters doing here. Mr. McKenna only writes to you when you buy a car. The same day I went and got my Mazda CX-5 and I returned my Passat to Huntington McKenna as I did not want to even step into Cerritos McKenna. Does anyone from McKenna read these reviews or I think they dont care. Can I give an half star or 0 star? More

I asked before hand will the oil change be consistent with the contract 30 minutes or less. My car was checked in at 8:04. I made an appointment for 8:00am. The advisor Aisleen Garcia. I checked on status 40 minutes later and non of the advisors were forthcoming. It appeared to them that I was complaining. I was not. Since non of them were doing their jobs I was following to get to my other errands for the day since my oil change was 30 minutes or less. They finally got my car out at 9:34. That is not as promised a 30 minutes oil change turned into more that tripe the time promised and when I attempted to raise this to the advisor she did not acknowledge my concerns or even a simple apology. She was asking for my email address and when I said that my email is on file since I made an appointment and got both a confirmation email and text message. She was not very good and providing service. I am deeply saddened by the service at McKenna VW. I have always brought my car to this dealer even though it is further from my house than Timmons VW because I got better service in the past. I would not recommend McKenna VW at Cerritos auto square to anyone. More

We were there on Sunday got all the incentives to get into this vehicle, told to come back on Monday at 1 o’clock, called to make sure we could go in and was told the sales associate was with a client as well as Joe the GM one of them would call back ASAP... hmmm here it is Tuesday night and have not heard back from either one of these people! Such unprofessional customer relations. No courtesy call to say the deal couldn’t go through or yes come on back ... NOTHING Would not recommend this dealership for a car . Richard Reyes More
