I thought I originally bought the car for $10,000 I got paperwork in the mail and it showed me it was a $15,000 purchase on top of that at 18% Interest. I have made over $10,000 in payments and still owe $12,000 this place rips people off. Sad thing is I can't even get out of this predatory loan I am upside down too much. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM!!! Dishonest, Poor customer service and Unprofessional am only giving a one star because the sale person was friendly, polite and was doing his best under the terrible management. I came to this dealer am only giving a one star because the sale person was friendly, polite and was doing his best under the terrible management. I came to this dealer to lease a vehicle. After the sale person Krisztian promised that he can beat by $10-15 the lease monthly payment any other dealers offer I received, I came to the dealer in person very late on a Friday night. Of course, he could not offer the $10-15 reduction but only $5. I still decided to lease the vehicle from this dealer. I put a deposit down of $3,200 but I did not sign the leasing contract because the dealer did not have the car. They assured me that they would get it from another dealer and I will have it the next day, Saturday. Come Sunday and still no car. On Monday three days later they still did not have the car. After calling Krisztian, he finally told me that the car they tried to get me had been sold. But he could get me the same car in a different color from a dealership in San Francisco. I was fine with the new color. Because the car was in San Francisco, they had to put it on a truck or drive it back. On Tuesday, there were still no sign of the car. Krisztian kept promising that I would receive it. He finally told me that his manager did not want to spend the money and they were trying to get me the car from a local dealership. I asked to speak to his manager and was told he would call me back. His manager, Tony Kallah never called me back and I had to call him. Mr. Kallah told me that the car I was promised for Saturday had been sold by the other dealership. It was the same story for the car they were allegedly getting from another dealer on Sunday and the car which was coming from San Francisco. However, his story was very different from Krisztian who had said that his manager just did not want to pay to put the car on a truck. I am wondering who was lying here? Then Mr. Kallah said that he was talking to a VW sale representative and he would get me a car. He promised to call me back the same day. He did not call me back or even responded to my voicemails or texts. Meanwhile, Danny McKenna, the dealership owner was quick to send a personal message congratulating me on my new car! Great, the car I don’t have! His text also said to call his cell phone or to text him if I needed his help. I texted him twice and called him once. So Mr. McKenna might be quick to respond to negative Yelp review but he does not respond to customers’ inquiries. Another fail customer service! Bottom line, after paying a down deposit of $3,200 on Friday, five days later I still had no car and had no idea if VW Cerritos dealership would be able to get me a car. I asked for a refund back which had to be processed by a different manager because Mr. Kallah again did not respond to my calls. It’s clear that the manager Tony Kallah lacks customer service and is very unprofessional. I also never heard back from Mr. McKenna. This seems to be a trend for McKenna VW business. More
