Poor communication skills I’m a patient guy. I can sit for quite a while if I know what’s going on. I brought my Quest in because I suspected the compressor wasn’t firing. The I’m a patient guy. I can sit for quite a while if I know what’s going on. I brought my Quest in because I suspected the compressor wasn’t firing. The staff member asked if I needed a rental, but I said I could wait ther that morning, not expecting to wait more than a couple hours. I stayed for around four hours with an appointment (not a walk in) before being told anything at all. I was finally told that it was indeed the compressor, and I asked if it was covered by my warranty. The staff member was unaware that I had an extended warranty (even though I had bought it and the vehicle there) and called the warranty company to determine my coverage. In four hours, he had not asked if I had warranty coverage for a potentially non-functioning part. Granted, I had also not told him I had the warranty, but as a customer, I ultimately place the responsibility of knowledge with the staff member. I waited for another 45 minutes without being spoken to at all before going to ask if there was any word on my warranty. The staff member said he was still waiting. I then left for the day, as I was two hours past when I had anticipated leaving. He said he would call me when he had an answer. It took nearly two weeks. Perhaps I’m not familiar with how difficult warranty companies are to work with, but I expect a service warranty that’s sold by a dealership to facilitate any repair process that occurs in that dealership. This was not the case. Though the next available appointment was literally the next day, I again waited almost through the entire process without being communicated with at all - this time six hours. I was finally asked if I needed a rental for the night, since it was nearing the end of the business day. The staff member then said that if I waited another 30 minutes or so, the repair would be finished. It was. However, I only found out a couple days later that there was still a secondary issue that was not addressed at all. All this is to say that the long waits were not the issue. The issue was that at no point during a four hour period and then a six hour period did the staff member think to come and give me an update on my vehicle’s status. He was cordial, but virtually non-communicative. He also could have recommended that I take a rental for the day since he knew that there were five other air conditioning issues that day and only one a/c repair spot open. Poor communication skills. More

Unexpected new car Was halfway from MS to Dallas and the Murano I had “repaired” at Carlock Nissan in Tupelo broke down(after $3500in repairs). While waiting for repair Was halfway from MS to Dallas and the Murano I had “repaired” at Carlock Nissan in Tupelo broke down(after $3500in repairs). While waiting for repair attempt, looked at , and test drove a Rogue S. The repair attempt did not fix issue and I decided it was time to purchase the vehicle I had looked at and drove. The purchase went as painlessly possible, and HATED the trade in value on my Murano. Service manager was awesome, and ALL the employees were helpful and cordial. More
