Given the Run Around I received two varying results on the multi-point diagnostic test within two weeks. I had somewhat extensive work done in August on my 2007 Nissan Alt I received two varying results on the multi-point diagnostic test within two weeks. I had somewhat extensive work done in August on my 2007 Nissan Altima and returned in Oct to have a routine oil change, filters replaced , and tires balanced and rotated. A multi-point check was also conducted and it revealed that the very things that I had spent $2500 on just two months prior needed immediate attention again. My schedule didn't allow me to address the matter then, so I sent an email to the Owner Loyalty Manager Mattison S about my concern. Both she and Cole B called and Cole attempted to convince me that nothing was wrong with my car, it was just that the tech didn't know that work had already been performed and didn't adjust the testing. I've now spent nearly $3000 at McLarty and I began to wonder if they actually repaired my car in the first place or if the multi-point test is a scam. Although I appreciated their attempt at reassuring me, I wanted my car tested again and scheduled an appointment for Nov. 9. Sure enough ,the multi-point test gave me the clear on the previous issues, I guess the tech was given the heads-up, but it now showed that something was wrong with my battery and that both it and an O ring needed immediate replacement otherwise I'd be stranded somewhere with a dead battery and no oil--two issues that were not picked up on by the technicians just two weeks prior. And mind you, the battery was purchased brand new Feb of this year. Cliff B was my service rep for both the Oct. 26 and Nov. 9 visits (Juan V assisted me back in August) and he could not offer any reasonable explanation for why this didn't pop up in Oct. other than it should be expected given the age of my car. The O ring replacement alone would have cost me another $500. Not for sure if this was a factor or not, but I was flagged down by a sales man while pulling up to McLarty for my appointment trying to get me to trade my car in. Are the sales and service reps in cahoots to get me to buy a new car by ruining the one I have? I emailed and called Mattison and Cole again and after three days of no response, I took my car to Firestone on Chenal to have the battery checked and it passed without issue. So, whose telling the truth? More

Buy from McLarty Nissan! I first found the vehicle I was interested online, went to McLarty Nissan of LR and looked at the vehicle and test drove it!! Worked up a deal and wen I first found the vehicle I was interested online, went to McLarty Nissan of LR and looked at the vehicle and test drove it!! Worked up a deal and went home to think about it. The salesman was not pushy and allowed me my time to think but was available to answer all my questions when needed!
