Took 95 minutes for an oil change and inspection. The appointment was previously scheduled ( not a drop in). No urgency from staff when I inquired on lengthy wait time. Not so great service Until my last service appointment, I would have wholeheartedly recommended McLoughlin Chevrolet. The problems started in early September and were fina Until my last service appointment, I would have wholeheartedly recommended McLoughlin Chevrolet. The problems started in early September and were finally fixed in late February. In September, I brought my car in because it was making a noise. When I got it there, they said that there was no oil in it. After several days, they decided that I needed new pistons and rings. I was calling almost every day for an update. I had to call them, they did not call me. I did not get my car back until early October and had to pay for a rental car during the whole time. The problem wasn't covered under the warranty I was sold at the dealership and paid $4100+. In November, I took my car back twice because it was making the same noise again. The oil was at least 2 qts. low each time. In December, I took it back for an oil change and it was over 2 qts. low and they started an oil consumption test. Two weeks and less than 500 miles later, I took it back again and it was low again. Two weeks later and less than 300 miles later, I took it back and it was out of oil. Now the engine was ruined and needed to be replaced. Each time I took it back because it was making the same noise as in September within 48 hours of noticing the noise. I had to fight with them to get my engine replaced at their cost. They never initiated phone calls to me, I had to call them. More

Good dealership experience! I was pleased with being able to get in early morning (7:30) with only a one day notice! My service advisor (Larry Thomsen) was personable enough. The waiting area was clean and offered donuts and coffee (although I'm off of sweets for the month of February, so I could not partake)! I would have rated my visit higher except for the fact that my car was not washed or vacuumed out . Or maybe Dealerships don't do those things anymore. I must mention that I found a coupon online that brought my oil/filter change to a cool $49.95! I will definitely go back and recommend the dealership. More
