Great service for a recall issue that had things quite backed up in the appointment choices. I had no trouble getting in and things were done when they were estimated. No problems at all. My 2011 Equinox has been tracked over the past year for an oil consumption issue. Before he retired, Don was planning to submit this evidence to Chevrolet. This vehicle burns through oil without a known ro an oil consumption issue. Before he retired, Don was planning to submit this evidence to Chevrolet. This vehicle burns through oil without a known root cause. I informed Kayla of the history when the car had a scheduled oil change 5/1/2021. There was no oil visible on the dipstick. She later said they "did not know why". I told her about the history. She did not bother to investigate and go back to look through the service history. If she had done so, it would have been evident that this vehicle has a definite timeline of oil consumption tracking. See notes from January 2021 and going forward. Don was planning to submit this evidence and request service fee reimbursement. There was a previous recall of the 2011 Equinox with a known issue. More

Ian was awesome! Did I like finding out that my 2015 Tahoe with barely 50K miles on it needed a new transmission? NO! But Ian was very helpful in getting his manager to contact GM and having them assist Tahoe with barely 50K miles on it needed a new transmission? NO! But Ian was very helpful in getting his manager to contact GM and having them assist with the cost of replacing the transmission. If this was a review for GM then I would give them a negative 5 since there is no good reason that my car needed a new transmission when it had so few miles on it and GM should have covered the entire $5K cost of the new transmission instead of only $2K of the cost. McLoughlin had my car for a week for all of the items that needed to be addressed and Ian was great about keeping me informed and working to make sure that everything got done as efficiently as possible. We were getting ready for a 12 hour drive down to CA and Ian ensured that my vehicle was ready and safe for the long road trip. McLoughlin has always taken good care of us. We bought the vehicle from Wentworth Chevrolet in 2015 and when they were sold we transferred the maintenance of our vehicle to McLoughlin. I had taken my vehicle in to Wentworth 4 times for a leaking sunroof and they never fixed it. I had video of water literally dripping from my sunroof and Wentworth kept giving the vehicle back and saying they had fixed the issue when it wasn't fixed. The last time I called them they had already been sold and wanted me to take my vehicle down to Salem to the new Chevy dealership they bought but I took it into McLoughlin and the service dept at McLoughlin ended up contacting Wentworth and GM and made the arrangement to finally replace the leaking sunroof at Wentworth and GM's cost. McLoughlin certainly didn't have to get involved or take such good care of me and my vehicle but they just continue to go above and beyond over and over again. This is why I trust them so much for the care and maintenance of my vehicle. You are probably wondering why I would keep a Tahoe that has given me so many problems over the 6 years I've owned it. I just love that dang car. I can fit my two kids, two cats and dog with all of our gear, as well as the rooftop box and sometimes a trailer when we road trip to CA or to the Oregon Coast. Everyone is comfortable and the kids can watch a movie. It's not the best vehicle for running errands in Portland with the crappy parking and small parking spots, but I still love my Tahoe. And it drove like a dream down to CA and back after the transmission was replaced two weeks ago. More
