As long as I have ever traded traded cars, I have never had this happen to me. After talking to Mark taking a test drive and then let the haggling begin, which as a potential buyer, for me is fun! And this had this happen to me. After talking to Mark taking a test drive and then let the haggling begin, which as a potential buyer, for me is fun! And this is what I was having. It is a chalenge to me to get the best price I can get from a dealer! Through this whole process Mark was very helpful and kind, understanding what I was doing. He calls me to inform me I can purchase the unit for the price the sales mgr agreed to. Which was great. I felt I had won the battle and just needed to win the war with one more push of $200. As I am leaving another lot to drive to Wilkesboro, Mark calls me back to inform me that Wilkes Nissan will have to go back on there word and not sale the unit for that price, per the GM, Alex Barletta. What I don't understand is how the sales mgr can come to a price and call the customer and then back away. I am a man of his word, and will take another mans word to heart. I know one thing, I will never step foot into Wilkes Nissan again! And will let other friends and family know what happened. Nothing like word of mouth advertisement! So, Mr. Barletta if you can treat customers like this, good luck in your sales, if I can find anyone higher up than you, I will send this to them also! If it really matters to you. More
Signed paperwork for new car. Was told rebate would cover complete down payment. 45 days after buying car (old car paid off by dealership, and made first car payment on new car)the dealership called us sayin complete down payment. 45 days after buying car (old car paid off by dealership, and made first car payment on new car)the dealership called us saying we owed them a lot more money. We told them no we didn't that everything was covered by rebate. We were told no it wasn't and we had to pay the additional money or they would turn it in to a lawyer. He spoke to our lawyer and was told we were right, however if it went to court the count cost for us would be more than the dealership said we owed them. We called to try to work it out with the dealership and they were rude and said it was our fault. We ended up paying them the extra money to not get sued. Also, 2 days after we bought the car the window broke on the inside. We were told it had to be a defect in the window. It took 2 weeks to get the window fixed through them and the car was only 2 days old. We have received hateful phone calls from them regarding the money situation. More
