Friday December 28, 2012 It is with great pleasure and Friday December 28, 2012 It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm to be able to write a recommendation not only for Meador Dodge Chrysler Jeep of F Friday December 28, 2012 It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm to be able to write a recommendation not only for Meador Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Fort Worth, Texas but also for the Internet Sales Manager Kevin Eidson and Finance Manager Shane Pierce. Approximately three weeks previously I had made a telephone call and an internet inquiry for a vehicle I needed desperately. I will start by saying my credit is way less than perfect, in fact “poor” credit gives me a leg up in the credit scale rating. I had been turned down by virtually every dealership in Fort Worth area because of my atrocious credit. I spoke with the Internet Sales Manager Kevin Eidson, who was friendly, positive, motivated and also had great understanding and I may add empathy to my situation. At this point in the buying process I was left with an optimistic feeling that maybe I might be able to get a vehicle. In fact I was content with a used vehicle purchase, it did not have to be new, and I truly believed that a new vehicle was not even part of the buying discussion. Kevin called me and emailed me after I processed my information on the Meador Dodge Chrysler Jeep website. The first thing Kevin asked me was, “what kind of car do you want?” I was stammered at the question, my response was “do I have an option?” Kevin kind of chuckled and stated that I indeed had a choice of what type of vehicle I wanted. Bearing in mind what I could afford and not destroying my budget. After Kevin invited me to the dealership, I arrived in the evening hours and Kevin asked me my thoughts on a new Dodge Avenger or a new Chrysler 200. I was extremely open minded and I believe I had stated something to the effect, “sure…, even a used car is fine; beggars can’t be choosers.” Kevin presented a new Black in color Chrysler 200 as my first vehicle for a test drive. I was blown away by the features on the Chrysler 200, and I in fact stated to Kevin “now you’re trying to spoil me.” Kevin had me test drive the Dodge Avenger and we spoke of the Dodge Dart, but to be honest I really liked the Chrysler 200; I just didn’t want to lead on at that moment. Kevin worked on the figures for me and after a discussion of a mere $700 down payment; he stated the Chrysler was mine if I wanted it. My monthly payment was under my budget by about $60.00. Kevin told me to take the car that evening, and to come back the following day to sign the paper work with the Finance Manager Shane Pierce. I was astonished that I was able to take the car that night. When I went in to see Shane the following day, he was much like Kevin, friendly and understood money being slightly tight and deferred the $700 down payment to my next pay week. This was outstanding, and gave me a great buffer with the holiday’s on the rise. On the day that I was supposed to come in and pay my down payment I was out of state for a funeral, Shane had telephoned me and inquired about the payment. I explained that my father had passed away and that I completely forgot about the payment. I was truly upset with myself for not remembering; because to me Meador Dodge and Kevin really saved me in a desperate situation, and here I am slacken a down payment. Shane was more than understanding and stated to take care of my family business and contact when I was better situated. This example is above and beyond customer service in the auto sales industry from my perspective. Meador Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Fort Worth, Texas, Kevin Eidson and Shane Pierce I sincerely thank you for your kindness, understanding and an outstanding working relationship that actually boarders a friendship. I truly anticipate that anyone who reads this recommendation understands the heartfelt gratitude I have for this particular dealership and Kevin Eidson. Please allow Meador Dodge Chrysler Jeep to get you into a vehicle that you need and or desire. I cannot speak for the entire staff at Meador Dodge Chrysler Jeep, but if they are anything like Kevin and Shane, you will be treated fairly and with great respect. Respectfully, Scott Harmon More

The team that was on site from California for a promotion were also pleasant. They gave my wife a certificate and she mentioned that it would expire before we were able to use it and they did not hesitate in making the extension. The finance manager was very hospitable in making corrections to the contract after signing the original contract, and pleasantly accomodated our needs. Matt our salesman was fun to work with and we enjoyed getting to know him as a person. We honestly felt like family members that were welcomed in and invited back. We look forward in coming back. I went in on a Friday as a motivated buyer knowing exactly which vehicle I wanted. I was told I was the first person that day to look at the truck and that there weren't any others actively engaged i exactly which vehicle I wanted. Though this vehicle was priced in excess of $40K, apparently the sticker wasn't enough to motivate the salesperson named Isabel. I also mentioned I'd strongly consider making this a two-vehicle opportunity by trading in my wife's car and getting her a new used one. Still, nothing could motivate Isabel, who failed to respond to my email sent first thing the same morning letting her know I was coming by the same day to look at the vehicle. In other words, I sent he an email around 9am informing her I'd be coming in during the afternoon. And when I arrived around 1pm, though she never responded to or acknowledged the email sent earlier, I asked for her to help me when I should have dealt with the gentleman who initially approached me. Isabel, by the way, was doing nothing more than making small talk with co-workers when we finally tracked her down. After test driving the truck, I knew it was what I wanted. I sent Isabel another email around 3pm letting her know I was ready to make a deal. By 6:30pm she had yet to respond so I sent her a text. Her text reply was simply to ask me what I needed, completely ignoring every question I asked her via email. Finally, around 7pm after still not getting any where with her, I emailed customer service. They asked for my phone number and said they'd contact me the next day. Well, true to form, they didn't deliver either. Bottom line: Isabel is the absolute worst used car salesperson I've met in my 43 years and has no sense of urgency whatsoever. After the fact, I've learned this isn't the first such complaint about her. If you're interested in a vehicle from this dealer, do yourself a favor and steer very clear of Isabel. Find someone who wants to close a deal because she's not the one. She doesn't follow-up or follow through. It wasn't made known to me until the following Monday that they sold the vehicle over the weekend. I complained to the GM, Charlie Gray. His response was flippant and didn't address any issues raised. The unmotivated saleslady, the lip service customer service department, and my horrible experience altogether with this dealer clearly is a microcosm of its leadership, made apparent by his lack of concern. Of course, this is no sort of revelation. Generally, an organization generally runs as its led, and this organization isn't any different. If you want to experience all the negative stereotypes we all are aware of in this industry, this is the dealership for you. If you want to be treated respectfully, as a paying customer should be, pass this one by altogether. You won't be sorry. More

The dealer was very people friendly. I first went to the dealership on 09/10/12 just to shop around for pricing and test drive the car that I was looking for. I work in the auto finance industy so I quizzed him on a few questions which I thought because he was a car sellsman he wasnt going to tell the honest truth. When he did I knew I was going to do business with him. On this day I didnt purchase the car because I didnt want to rush into buying a car without looking at all my options and pricing other dealer. Ocell was accepting to my wishes and gave me a card and told me that if he could be any assistance to please give him a call. Well on 09/17/12 I went to Allen Samuels Dodge and their sevice was horrible!!! I advised him of what type of car I was looking for what options I wanted and the color, which was a 2013 Black Dodge Challenger SXT Plus, brings the keys to a YELLOW Challenger SXT. (1st test failed), we proceed to start the car and it's dead (2nd test failed). So once again he has to find the keys to another car we didnt ask for which was a Hemi. This was so far from my options. So I decided let me quiz him and see how honest this salesman is. Well like all other test that he was going through this was another FAIL!!!! The price was lower but I was not going to settle. I called Ocell as soon as I got back in my car. He didnt answer but by the time I drove off of the parking lot of Allen Samuels he was calling. I advised him that the deal was better at Allen Samuel and they are offering to go and get the car from another dealer at a lower price. When I tell you that this man Ocell worked his magic to get me the car of my dreams and at a reasonable deal I was over joyed. We were only in the dealership a few hours before I drove out with my car. Thank you Ocell for your honest sellsmanship. That is what stood out the most along with your willingness to do whatever it was to get us in what we wanted and staying professional. More
