We do apologize for the lack in communication and follow up regarding your concern. We have been advise that there was no repair done on this brand new vehicle. This is a factory flaw in the paint and needs to be addressed with Mercedes - Benz Corp. Advisement was provided by the Service Manager on what possible resolution service could offer this included you taking it to a shop of your preference. This was unsatisfactory to you. Mercedes - Benz Corp as you have advised you contacted. Will need to address this. The clear bra was a suggestion of protection not a resolution for the flaw. We will address this issue with the GM and have him reach out to you. We are disappointed that you were not happy with your experience. Our Customer Relations Manager has also been advised and will follow up with the GM. Thank you for reaching out.

Well after the horrible experience with Barrington Mercedes I'm glad to say Hoffman estates Mercedes has remedied my prior prepurchase repair. Myself the other dealer and 3 other Mercedes certified body shops still find it hard to believe that Barrington denies the repair having been done by them. So once again buyer beware!

We sincerely apologize for your experience and the error that occurred pricing this vehicle at $12,110 instead of the correct $47,991 market based price. We truly strive to provide a transparent sales process for each of our thousands of customers we serve each year. As already discussed with you via our phone conversation we will be very happy to work to identify another vehicle that fits into your budget parameters and ensure you are able to have the same seamless and transparent sales process that so many of our customers have come to expect and enjoy. We also hope that you can appreciate this pricing error did not have any malicious intent as we have no benefit to price a 2017 BMW 750xi with a current market value of $47,991 at only $12,110. The error has been corrected and the vehicle is currently available at this market based value. Additionally, we have taken this unfortunate event as a coaching opportunity with our staff that is responsible for our vehicle pricing to ensure this does not happen again to any other customer. Mistakes unfortunately happen from time to time and with over 1,000 vehicles available in our inventory each day even our most stringent pricing practices are subject to a rare human error.
