After having multiple issues I tried to see the best in their service but they only make it harder. My most recent experience was that I dropped my car off because the right tire was leaking and after having the car for 4 days I get back and the car is having the same issue when I go to pick it up. I was told that a loaner would be dropped off if the problem remained because mototrwerks is 30-45 minutes away for me. The issue is still going on two weeks later and they have not even contacted me about getting a car to me. It’s been at least a week that I had asked Derek and had to remind him almost everyday to see if I can get a car. It unfortunate because you’d expect much more from them especially when we just bought 3 cars from them in the past two years. Extremely unsatisfied. Only remained with them because of Chris Lima. He’s great, however this will be the last of my many bad incidents with Motorwerks BMW. Will be going to Elmhurst BMW because they might actually care about consumers. More

clean Carfax...not so much I purchased a used 2012 vehicle with a clean CARFAX from MotoWerks back in September of 2015. I am now in the mood for a change and found another vehi I purchased a used 2012 vehicle with a clean CARFAX from MotoWerks back in September of 2015. I am now in the mood for a change and found another vehicle that I was interested in at MW and wanted to close the deal with my trade in. My trade in was valued at below what I was expecting and was told it was due to "rear damage" reported on the CARFAX. Now this shocked me, since I didn't have any damage under my watch I wanted to know what happened. I contacted CARFAX for a report on my vehicle, and low and behold, my then purchased clean CARFAX vehicle was not so clean, It actually had rear damage, 6 months before I bought it at MW. I contacted MW and was told this happens all the time and CARFAX reports stuff years down the road. I said, how can you then sell the car as being clean with out it actually being clean. In reality MW got more for it in 2015 with an assumed clean CARFAX and now wants to give less in 2018 because it not so clean. Then the excuse turned to: we didn't use the CARFAX report to value your car, its only worth what we told you(can you hear the back peddling) This sounds shady all the way around. In addition, the CARFAX report says "CARFAX began reporting this information on 04/04/2018". Even the CARFAX report with damage gives me 2,100.00 more than what MW offered. Also interesting that end of March is when I started fanning out my trade-in for pricing? Did other dealerships report to CARFAX to lower my value? What if I went to trade in in March? I guess I would have had a "clean CARFAX" at that time. More shady stuff here than you can shake a stick at. By MW for selling a car as clean when its not. For MW cutting the value due to an issue that is reported 3 years and 1 month after the time it happened? Happens all the time? I get an oil change at the dealer and its on CARFAX within 2 weeks. I contacted CARFAX and got some story about how sometimes they partner with a repair shop and then enter all their past records dating back multiple years. I have asked CARFAX for the records on what happened, costs, details and repair info. I received a case number but no response since then. Are CARFAX and car dealerships working together to alter reports for profit?" consumers want to know. More

She worked her magic and got us the financing we wanted. She definately knows her job and enjyos what she does. Last, there was Ammar Khan, the General Sales Manager. During our process, he stopped by to talk to us to see how everything was going and if he could do anything for us. After we left, he called my husband with a follow up to see how we liked our new car and again if he could do anything else for us. I will tell you, Motorwerks Barrington is a class act! I love their facility and the people who work obviously enjoy what they do because they do it very well! We will see you on our next car purchase!! More
