1st Service Visit I live in St. Augustine and decided to drive south rather than north for first time service visit to Mercedes-Benz of Daytona Beach. Currently, due to the proximity to I 95 but most importantly their ratings. It’s one thing to satisfy the customer but it’s another to exceed their expectations. Mike Lafanti, service advisor was professional and timely in having me in and out with a loaner vehicle in addition to providing information regarding future visits to make the process even more efficient. I am a detailed guy when it comes to my Mercedes Benz and it was returned to me cleaner than when I left it. Mercedes Sprinter needed a new battery Thanksgiving week we were on our way to North Carolina to spend the holiday with relatives. We stopped our motorhome for breakfast and when we came o Thanksgiving week we were on our way to North Carolina to spend the holiday with relatives. We stopped our motorhome for breakfast and when we came out it would not start. The battery would not turn over the engine. Fortunately we were able to start the engine using the house batteries. As we were driving north I asked my wife to find the nearest Mercedes dealer. She said there is one about a half an hour north in Daytona. We called to see if they serviced Sprinters and were told they did and they had a battery for our model. We pulled in and were directed to Metry Shallop our service advisor. He was terrific! He got a Tech to look at our Motorhome. He tested our battery and determined that it needed to be replaced. In a very short time from our arrival without an appointment we were back on the road. The dealership is fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone. More
