My day in the shop Not sure if David was person helping me? His name is on the invoice so I guess it was. Did exactly what I requested. Asked when I wanted to pick it up Not sure if David was person helping me? His name is on the invoice so I guess it was. Did exactly what I requested. Asked when I wanted to pick it up and that was exactly when it was brought out for pickup. He agreed with me that some items that were recommend for service were not necessary at this time as my 2 year old MSB has only 6000 miles on it. He made a good case for draining and replacing the brake fluid though...when I challenged him about that he told me it is a time in service decision and not the mileage. .I am puzzled though. My 2nd car (not a Mercedes) is older with higher mileage. The dealer there laughed when I asked him if I should be doing a brake fluid change on his make ? NO! was the answer. I have never had a failure on a Mercedes and have had 4 of them over 20 years.so I take the MSB service folks word for their recommendations. The price for about everything done in the MSB shop is excessive though. (P.S.) When are they going to put out an electric vehicle or at least a plug -in. That will be my next car period) More
