beware before repair I have been going to Mb of Escondido for over 15 years. We are a five car family and have been repeatedly disappointed by poor repairs. My current situation with them is as follows; I take my 2006 slk55 amg in for a basic service. Like usual they upsell me a couple extras I'm sure I didn't need. I pick up my car and it was running really rough. By the time I got home it was shaking like a paint mixer and blowing smoke out of the tailpipe. I have to have it towed back to the dealer because the check engine light went on. They call and tell me it needs 2000.00 in parts, but they're not sure it will fix the problem. I tell them I want to pick up the car to take it elsewhere. I specifically ask my service guy if they where able to get the check engine light to go off, and he told me yes. I go to pick up the car, when I get in it, the check engine light is still on. With mechanical experience, I explain how I determined the issue happened due to something they had done. After some warm discussion they pull they car readings from before the work they had done. The readings for those 2000.00 parts were good. They then agreed to fix the issue at their own expense. They call me the next day telling me that the car is ready, but they couldn't actually find the problem. They did something to get the check engine light off, but the car is still undriveable. Large plums of smoke fill my 2 car garage every start and even burns oil while driving. My son and I found the issue, we didn't have to take anything apart. We took off the oil fill cap with the engine running and found crankcase pressure pumping out like an exhaust pipe. This is a highly damaging condition. Amg international contacted me and told me to file a "tips" case with the dealership so that Mercedes international can get involved to help me. I get no help or concern from the current dealership staff. More
Irresponsible i had a great service advisor for 8 years. after he left MBZ of Esc threw me to the wolves. a basic service cost me $1,100+ after they offered me a 10 i had a great service advisor for 8 years. after he left MBZ of Esc threw me to the wolves. a basic service cost me $1,100+ after they offered me a 10% "good customer discount". they said i had all kinds of leaks of something or other although my garage floor was clean. i trust mercedes more than i trust my doctor and believed that the car probably needed whatever they said. when they delivered the car to me my door locking mechanism was broken. i was basically called a fibber by my new service advisor Jeff, the service manager Adolfo, and the GM would not return my calls. i'll let you know how well they do against me in court. i did not buy this car from them because they wanted $8,250 more then Mercedes-Benz of Anaheim. the receptionists and people answering the phones deserve 5 stars, the others ZERO. More

It's been a couple of years since we bought our first car, it was a C class. Back then we received an amazing service from all the team: from sales to service parts, they walked us through every detail o car, it was a C class. Back then we received an amazing service from all the team: from sales to service parts, they walked us through every detail of the car, the purchase, the agreement, the service. We had once a bad experience and filled a complaint form, the response of the Quality Assurance team was impressive: immediate, consistent, coherent with their brand. Amazing! What I like the most is that it is all included, they never ask for more like other dealers do, you pay the price, but the price includes everything, no small letters, no hidden stuff. They go out of their way to meet your needs. A week ago we upgraded our C-class to an SL, the most amazing deal we've ever done. Pam Lanier took amazing care during the whole process, she really did everything possible (and impossible) to close the deal as smooth and possible and we got an amazing service, worthy of the Mercedes Benz Brand. We didn't even have to move away from home. Our family has owned Mercedes since the 70's. They are amazing machines and have an incredible team of human resources. PS. Christopher Bayne was my service consultant during my recent 20,000 mile service. I was running late and let Chris know I would be there about 15 minutes late... Well, 45 minutes later, there I was, and there was Tarren White, the service greeter, welcoming me by name with a friendly " Hello Mr. Rodriquez, how are you today". WOW!! That DOES NOT happen anymore anywhere! Chris was ready to go with a loaner and the entire experience took 10 minutes! I appreciate those that respect my time, and being treated like a real person, not a number. Because of Chris and Tarren, I will only tell my friends and family to go to Mercedes Benz of Escondido More
Bought a Mercedes here.... I have had nothing but bad service..The car turn out to be a lemon!! l recently purchased a certified SL 550 at this dealership. My salesperson was Mike Rossi. He couldn't have been nicer or more patient. Since purchasing my car I have had several questions and issues to resolve, Mike and Rhett have been very responsive to resolving all my questions and issues. I would recommend visiting Mercedes of Escondido and Mike Rossi if you are interested in purchasing a vehicle. More
