Unethical Sales Transaction. Dealer needed to bring in new automobile from a different dealership. Several days of excuses as to why the car had not arrived. Finally received a Dealer needed to bring in new automobile from a different dealership. Several days of excuses as to why the car had not arrived. Finally received a call saying that the rear window had been damaged. Asked to see the car and damage was far more extensive than told on the phone. Dealer indicated that they would fix the car...new bumper, new window, new side panels, etc. with OEM parts. Of course, this would have resulted in a new car with a Carfax report showing it had been involved in an accident. This would result in a 20% decrease in the value the next time we traded it in. Their response was that we could take it, leave it or purchase a more expensive new car. Selling a brand new car with an accident report and expecting the purchaser to simply "take it" is not a way to run a dealership. More
