We came in on Saturday over our miles and Chip worked very hard to get us a great deal and to spot the vehicle and pick it up the same day. Although the dealership closed at 6, Chip and the Finance Manager stayed until 8:00 to ensure all the paperwork was done correctly. Chip also stayed extra to make sure we understood everything that went on with the vehicle. As I am a straight sh After much car shopping in my time, going to Mercedes Benz of Fort Washington and working with Ivan and Michael was a pleasure. As I am a straight shooter, so where these guys. They understood my needs while understanding the needs they have. Total time from looking to purchase was about 6 total hours over about a week. It went very smooth, no gotcha's at the end or surprises. When I was buying the car, Ivan kept me up to speed on what was going on as they detailed it one last time. And it looked great when I got it! The last thing why you should work with Ivan is because he goes above and beyond the normal car sales man role. E.g. For me, he met me with floor mats for my purchased vehicle which made things much easier for me. I highly recommend going to see Ivan and letting him know what you want. More

But when you go in without an appointment the wait for even the most basic service is hours. They offer loaners, but you have to schedule weeks in advance to make sure they is one available. I work close by, so the last time I used the shuttle service. Big mistake. The last driver was anything competent. He drove like he was in a race. The whole time he was playing with his phone. At one point we drifted off the road way and he nearly hit a pedestrian waiting at a bus stop. When I complained to management I was not taken seriously. The driver overheard my complaints it sound like he was cursing me as the supervisor lead him away. I will not be using the service department anytime soon. More

Great experience buying a new vehicle. We went as a family to purchase a new GL450 and couldn't find any of them at a local dealer so we went to Ft Washington where they had more choices an We went as a family to purchase a new GL450 and couldn't find any of them at a local dealer so we went to Ft Washington where they had more choices and friendly sales and service. They paid attention to my wife and kids which I like a lot because buying a new car typically takes a long time and is taxing when they are towed along. There was no hassling involved just them working to satisfy their customer. We left that night with our first Mercedes and love everything about it. We will definitely go back for another purchase when ready. Our sales rep Ivan Kulygin was very professional and worked to get us a great price and did not put the typical pressure on when making decisions. He was a great help and appreciate all he did to make the transaction a memorable one. More

Some Background My grandfather was a lifetime Mercedes-Benz owner and when I turned 16, he bought me my first Mercedes. After I graduated from college, I went to Mercedes-Benz of Fort Washington to purchase my own car. I always took my cars and my parents' Mercedes in for service, but I had never personally been on the sales floor until that day. Day of Purchase At the time, I thought I wanted an SUV, so I had been at a Land Rover dealership and a BMW dealership before ending up at MBFW. This was the only dealership where anyone treated me like an actual customer and not "some kid" window shopping. I was 23 at the time, but everyone treated me very respectfully and it was a welcome change from the other two dealerships. After having a nightmarish experience with a salesperson at the BMW dealership earlier that day, I received a text from the salesperson I dealt with at Land Rover telling me the LR2 I was interested in was sold. Thanks. The salesperson at MBFW who my grandfather always dealt with had since moved on, but I had the pleasure of working with Bruce Gilbert. I told Bruce exactly what I was looking for and he showed me a C300 4Matic instead of an SUV like I had originally planned to purchase. It was the only car I test drove, because it was as if he read my mind. As we were on the test drive, I realized more and more that an SUV would be impractical for my needs and I think Bruce has done this long enough that he knew that. I did feel like I was at the dealership for a very long time. There was a slight delay with having the car detailed and delivered, but it was January, and the car was detailed twice because of salt and cinders on the road. If the only negative I have ever had to deal with is an hour inconvenience over the lifetime of my relationship with the dealer, I will live. Financing was great and really painless. Everything was explained thoroughly and I felt very comfortable when the whole deal was done. After Purchase Bruce spent a lot of time with me going over all of the features of the car. He showed me the complete service history of the car and I left feeling satisfied. I was so pleased with my purchase that I told my parents about how well it went. My mother was in the market to replace her aging C350 that she absolutely loved. I recommended she deal with Bruce and she bought a GLK350 the next week. Her purchase experience may have been even better than mine. Service My mother took her C350 in for service before purchasing the GLK. It had been out of warranty for some time, and needed a $700 repair. She got a great deal on her GLK and was not charged for the repair to her C350. Phenomenal customer service. My grandfather took his cars there for everything, and I mean everything. And they always indulged the old man, which means a lot to me. When he was in an accident a few years ago, he only wanted to get the repairs done through MBFW. The damage was relatively extensive, and my grandfather was worried it wouldn't come back quite the same. When he picked it up, it was like the car had been factory reconditioned. Personally, I have also only had positive experiences with Service. Being 24 now and going to MBFW for the past 8 years for service, I can say that it is painless every time. Making an appointment is easy. All but once did I get a loaner car, and it was for a quick fix repair. I have never brought any of my family's cars back for the same repair twice. They are a first-time-final kind of service department. I also appreciate the little things the service department does. I take care of my car, of course, but its nice getting my car back washed and waxed, or getting a quick vacuum. They always use paper floor mats and cover the seats in plastic wraps. The staff is friendly. The service department is clean. The dealership itself is a beautiful building. I recommend this dealer to anyone looking to buy or service a Mercedes-Benz in the area. More
