They don't deserve the one star, 4 of us walked into this establishment & the associates prejudged us (yes we are black) and insulted us with all of their microaggressions by stating things like "I hope this establishment & the associates prejudged us (yes we are black) and insulted us with all of their microaggressions by stating things like "I hope you know the payments on these vehicles aren't going to be 100-200 dollars I want you guys to have realistic expectations, we will only give you a 5 minute test drive as you can't joy ride in the vehicles!!! Plus more insults, even stating that we have just enough gas to get around the block and would not be giving us any more .... guess what!! We left!!!! What I find funny is that we're pretty well paid professionals and bussiness owners (2 of us were planning on purchasing) I'm certain we make more than any salesperson in the dealership that has to wear a suit & tie.. The disrespect /prejudice we recieved was very hurtful/frustrating to say the least. We are taking this to a corporate level & will be giving a review about this dealership on every platform we can. Also, the sales rep name was Jeff, he said they way he acted was a result of orders given to him by the Manager. Jeff also called my phone the next business day to ask me to give him another chance to sell me a car!!! Why would I ever give you the time of day to earn any of my money?? This dealership is disgraceful and I'll never return or reccomend this dealership or any dealership that is owned under this umbrella of dealerships if this is the way people are treated!!! At the end of our car search my friend & I ended up purchasing a Gv80 and BMW, thanks Mercedes for pushing us to better purchases with people who appreciated our business. Reponse to owner -8/18... I would say thanks for your response but you didn't respond to the actual issue but you tried to play down the experience by using covid excuses, for what? I dont know...The issue was not about insurance or having someone accompany us for the test drive it was for the level of discrimination that we received. What I didn't state in my previous review was the fact it took Jeff about 45 to even get the keys, he was copying or insurance cards and identification while we filled out a form for him. We provided everything that was needed to test drive the vehicle on the day in question. My friend and I were in the vehicle & Jeff was at the window attempting to explain the "covid" protocols when the issues began. Jeff intially stated he was just there to tell us about the vehicle & it's functions but we never got that far because the microaggressions were too much, so we left. I wrote a review 1 year ago after this happened and no one ever reached out, instead you guys filled my inbox with emails to purchase. This time I decided to write a review in more detail about what happened and your response was exactly what I did not expect but it further confirms why I'll never purchase a vehicle from any dealership you own and I will post this review and your response on every website possible about my horrible racist experience. We have already directed a few diverse colleagues away from your dealerships because you don't appreciate customers that keep you in business. Jeff may be a nice guy but unfortunately we experienced the not so nice Jeff that day and that is the experience that will stick with US forever. Let's address the real issue and not cover up the racism please. More
