Recently I purchased a 2008 Mercedes E Class automobile and my decision was complicated my by need to visit many dealerships and test drive 10 or more similar vehicles by various manufacturers. Having accomplished all the test drives , my choice was easy. I chose the Mercedes Dealership in Fort Pierce Florida, This dealership should be used as the model example as to how to properly interact with a customer. WOW, what a great experience ! Not only were the sales personnel knowledgeable and straight forward with explaining each vehicles key features and performance characteristics, I was also in the presence of a caring staff of employees. They really wanted me to get just the right automobile, and they took the time necessary to answer all my questions completely and then continued to be just as friendly and caring after I purchased the automobile. All together I probably met and interacted with 10 people or more at this dealership. Smiles were all around and I did watch them interact with other customers as well. So, I know it just was not my magnetic personally or my bank account that created the environment. Specially, I would like to commend Michele MacKinnon ( sales ) and Jim ( Finance ), and all the others, who were so helpful. OK, you might ask, how is the vehicle I purchased. It is my third Mercedes in 14 years, all are running like they are like new. Need I say more. Why am I giving this review ? Excellence is being duly noted. Thank You all . Victoria Renee Weiss More
Coggin has a great reputation to begin with. This was the reason that my husband and I decided to go to this dealership in the 1st place. She made sure that she knew exactly what we were looking for, and once that was done, it was smooth sailing after that. Basically completed the entire deal via email, just had to sign papers at the showroom. Fast, friendly and easy way to purchase our new C300. It has been a most pleasent experience doing business with this dealership. I am very much reminded of dealer service many years ago when the customer was treated so well. I found a used 2008 CLK on a website. Since we live 100 miles from the dealership we called Ryan to find out about the car, he was great and offered to take it off the market until we arrived the next morn miles from the dealership we called Ryan to find out about the car, he was great and offered to take it off the market until we arrived the next morning for an inspection. When we arrived the car was in perfect condition. What really impressed us was when we were offered a demo ride, all of the other salesmen assisted Ryan in moving the car from the showroom. It's so nice to see salesmen working as a team! The price negotiations went well with Dan stepping in to close the deal to our satisfaction. Jim took over on the financing and he was fair, non-pushy and professional. The car was taken to service to be inspected again, decals removed, etc. When they brought it around it was in perfect and ready to go. I thought my first stop would be to a gas station but they even filled the gas tank. This is my first experience with Coggin and Mercedes but I was highly impressed and definately recommend Ryan, Dan and Jim as good guys to deal with. What a pleasant experience. More

I brought my car, (SL500), in for service and tire balance. The car was in great shape and the tire balance was only slighly off. A minor vibration at highway speed. Here is where I made my mistake: After the service, I had the car delivered, which I though was a very nice feature. However I had spent over $2600 on various services, some of which were probably not really necessary, but that's another story. I was leaving on a 150 mile trip the following day. Once I was on the highway, the vibrations from the tires was 1000% worse than when I brought the car in. All I could say was the vibration could rattle your teeth out. I called Bob Landrigan the service rep from my cell and told him my problem. All he could say was how great their service tech was and how 2 different reps drove the car and it was fine. Later on I found out they drove it on the street right outside the dealership at maybe 45 MPH where it was fine. They never tested it at highway speed. I brought the car back after the trip to give them another chance. They said I needed new tires. (The tires were new and had perhaps 500 miles on them.) The car still wasn't right,and I was done with their "we're perfect attitude" so I brought it to a Tire Kingdom. When the manager looked at the wheels, he immediately said "who balanced these tires?" with a very confused look on his face. When I told him Mercedes Benz, he couldn't believe it. Apparently there were tire weights in various places all over the rim in huge amounts. After Tire Kingdom did their balancing, I spoke with the tech who did the work. He also asked me who balanced the tires because they were all done so badly and incorectly. He was also amazed at the way it had been done by Fort Pierce Mercedes Benz. Tire Kingdom fixed the problem and it is now as it should be... smooth at highway speed. Bottom line is that the car drives 100% now and I will NEVER go back to Fort Pierce Mercedes Benz. I think they were trying to get a tire purchase out of me and their tire tech does not know his job. Not impressed at all and they could care less. Needless to say,I'll never deal with Fort Pierce Mercedes Benz and I'll bet I never get one of those little cards that askes for a rating in the mail. More

Our confidence in Mercedez-Benz of Fort Pierce was so high that when it became time to purchase another car, we tunred immediately to Coggin. We first met Dawn Walker-Brown at the PGA Patriots Day Golf Tournament where Dawn was representing Mercedes-Benz of Fort Pierce as a corporate sponsor of the event. She introduced herself, we chatted briefly, she gave us her business card and invited us to give her a call. We did so. Thoughout the buying process, Dawn was professional,courteous, thorough, efficient, patient, informative, pleasant, polite and effective. She provided excellent service and it was a delight to work with her. She smoothed out all of the usual stress and anxiety surrounding the purchase of a new automobile. We could not have been more pleased with her service and attentiveness. Dawn introduced us to the General Manager, Jerry Clark and we worked with Business Manager, Daphne, to complete out paperwork. Everything went amazingly well and everyone with whom we had contact was pleasant, professional and efficient. Thanks to Dawn, we have added another satisfying experience with Mercedes-Benz of Fort Pierce. We have also been very well served by the Valet Manager, Terry Wilson, who has provided us prompt and excellent service whenever we have needed to call upon him. Went to look for a Mercedes Benz E320 Bluetech (diesel) for a better and far more comfortable ride than my previous 2004 Toyota Prius. I purchased the E320 and to date, I'm very pleased with the fuel economy getting as high as 42 mpg average, driving the entire length of the Florida Keys. At a later date I returned to check out some other vehicles, Dawn allowed me to test ride a minimum of 6 other vehicles taking the time with me and once again answering my questions and concerns. The service department has been friendly and answered question I had about my new purchase. To date I haven't put enough mileage on my car for service, this will change in a few months. Also The dealership went out of their way to get me an updated and latest GPS disc to replace the older one that was accidently installed prior to my purchase at no additional charge. To me that shows a great attitude towards "good will". This won't be forgotten by this customer. More
