Carla, first and foremost, we offer our most sincere apologies for what happened to you and your family. The act that you describe occurring when you and your family were held at gunpoint is unfathomable and hard to wrap our heads around. We are glad to hear that everyone walked away unharmed. With relation to the repair and extended timeline, we are trying to do everything we can to be fair but also cannot bear the expense of a loan car for 14 weeks while we wait on parts. It is your insurance company responsibility to furnish a loan car for as long as they are contractually obligated, in this case 30 days is what is stated on your policy. When those 30 days were up, as you noted, our team more than doubled that time period by giving you another 34 days in our loan car free of charge. This was us trying to flex our normal policies to accomodate you as much as we could in a time of need. Unfortunately, we cannot permit continued extended use of our loan cars for durations exceeding insurance terms without compensation from your insurance or you personally. This is an insurance issue, not a dealership issue. We have been as flexible as we can in allowing the loan car term to go far beyond where we would normally permit in normal circumstances. We apologize that there is not more we can offer and ensure you we will get the repair done as soon as possible and back in your hands. Best wishes.

1st of all I was told my car was going to be ready to pick up on December 12. Your professional mechanics in Mercedes, missed the harness was damaged when the car was inspected. I was the one that had to call to be made aware of this issue. Then when I was informed the person handling my repair explained the part was coming from Germany he also informed me this part was going to be built as soon at the order was placed. It would take 10 to 14 weeks. My response was, I don’t have another car and I can’t afford a car rental plus a note. He mentioned let me see what I can do to help you. He called and said I pulled some and got a loner. I am sorry but if someone tells you that after you mentioned you can’t afford a car rental and a car note I assumed it would be until the car was repaired. Never was I told a 30 day policy. If that was the case I would have told my insurance I wanted other options. 2nd when your service person texted me asking for the car the same day he also mentioned the part wouldn’t be ready for another 10 to 14 weeks. Then he came back and said he had informed me. He never mentioned the duration of the loaner. And that he told me from 14 to 18 weeks. No he never told me this long. Would you accept 3 to 4 1/2 months more? With a rental and a car note.
