We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your visit. Our records indicate that our team informed you that prolonged use would need to occur for a leak to be traced in the A/C system. This is an integral part of being able to determine where a leak is coming from. Since there are many components involved with the A/C system, the dye needs time and use to be able to pass through all the components of the A/C system in your vehicle. The amount of time for the dye to run through the system could take days or possibly weeks *depending upon the use of the A/C system. We are hopeful that this information finds you well and are happy to hear the dye added to the system allowed the mechanics to find and locate the leak on your vehicle.

The A/C did not have a leak and the dye had nothing to do with the fault. The compressor was the fault which was tested in-depth at MB in El Cajon, CA. MB of Portland could have determined the A/C compressor failure without adding dye to the system. I had told MB of Portland that the system was charged twice and still blowing warm air. That should have been a clear indication that something was wrong with the compressor. This was a waste of my time and money for not getting a proper diagnosis.
