Excellent service always Have been taking my Smart cabriolet to the MB Center for regular maintenance for most of its life, ever since the original Smart in Beaverton closed i Have been taking my Smart cabriolet to the MB Center for regular maintenance for most of its life, ever since the original Smart in Beaverton closed in 2010 (or '11?). At this point, it has over 106K on it, so that's a fair few oil changes and tenX-thousand-mile tuneups. My Smart runs great, has never broken down, and my experience here has always been above and beyond. For example, this summer there was recall work to do, and I thought I needed an oil change so scheduled that at the same time. Noel checked the service history (as he always does before a service); turned out I didn't need the oil change, so he took it off the schedule before I arrived - and still offered me chocolate even though there was no charge for the recall work ;). For comparison, three years ago I moved to Corvallis and tried an oil change with the local German auto place; about 2 weeks later the engine light came on, first time ever, and that seemed not right, so I took the car back to MBC of PDX for diagnosis. Sure enough, a part that doesn't come loose by itself had been loosened. Noel handed me his card with the invoice for the diagnostic and 5-minute fix, and said if Horton's did not immediately repay me for it to call him directly and give them his card. They balked at first, but did repay me before I had to call him. Now I drive to Portland for service because I know that my car is being taken care of by ethical experts who know their stuff and care about their customers. Absolutely awesome people. More

My new car mechanic I was brought up to believe that you didn't take your car to a dealership for service; that it was too expensive. That is not the case with MB of PDX I was brought up to believe that you didn't take your car to a dealership for service; that it was too expensive. That is not the case with MB of PDX. The repairs are priced at the same as MBI but MB of PDX's customer service is so much better. They have it dialed in from the moment you arrive to when you walk out the door. I am really impressed by them. More

Because MB of Portland was closer, I stopped in on a Saturday morning to ask a question about the voice control system on the car and was so impressed with the care and attention that was offered to me by the service staff that I decided to make a change. I've since purchased a new vehicle (at this dealership) and am now very pleased to have both of my vehicles routinely serviced and maintained at Mercedes-Benz of Portland. My most recent service, besides the usual maintenance was a replacement of a windshield. There was a small crack in the replacement, which my service advisor Chuck told me about immediately. I am so grateful they caught this before installing! It took nearly another week to get a new one, but I truly appreciated the careful, knowledgeable and thoughtful concern that was taken to insure not only a genuine factory replacement, but also a safe one for my family and myself! Wouldn't give me a rental saying it'd be under an 1hr. I come in from Vancouver and have no issue waiting an hour for my car service to be done. But they take hours. The least I've waited was 2hrs and most was 5hrs. They wouldn't give me a rental and took over 2rs to get me my car, making me late for work. I shouldn't jeopardize my job/ career because they're too cheap to give a rental. And by the way I'm a female and they always treat me terribly here, brothers and dad come here and they treat them completely different. With respect and great service. My sex shouldn't be a reason why I'm treated so bad here. More
