I took my car, still under warranty, to be serviced after a message that my 4matic was inoperable. The car needed a new battery, which I declined as I was able to install it myself more quickly and for much a message that my 4matic was inoperable. The car needed a new battery, which I declined as I was able to install it myself more quickly and for much less. I still paid $210 for a “general workup.” As soon as I picked my car up, I noticed that the led illuminated star in the front grill was not turning on. I went inside to ask why, as I had just paid for Mercedes to check my car and the problem has not been noticed nor addressed, even though led issues are covered under warranty (I checked with Mercedes directly about this). Instead of offering a solution, I was told to replace the battery and that the led light would come on. Less than an hour later, I replace the still-functioning battery, and the led light obviously does not turn on. I’m disappointed that I am paying for a warranty that the dealership did not abide by, and that I paid $210 for a workup that didn’t notice nor address the led problem, that should have cost me nothing to fix because my car is under warranty. More
The service process was seemlessly thorough...from the intake process to pickup. I was kept informed throughout my car repair process. My loaner was also an added perk for convenience. Mercedes could have given me a loaner so they could complete the job. I never wanted Mercedes to give me back my car until all of the work was completed Including all road tests. Very unhappy that they would give me back my car & state on work order that the work was not completed. Never had this happen before so I rate you 1 star. Hope you do Not treat all your customers like this because I feel Mercedes should have never given my car back til it was totally completed. Sure I wanted my car but I thought all of the work had been completed. I never demanded my car from you & did not read the entire report til I came home. Very disappointed in your service dept & hope you are not giving customers back their cars til the Work & road test are totally completed. Hope this message get to Manager. Unhappy customer… More
