We purchased a 2019 CLS 53 AMG and upon delivery found many paint flaws that detail would not improve. These flaws should have been noticed in the pre delivery detail. I was told all dark cars have similar flaws. Why are they on the show room? Certainly not what I would expect from the MBZ brand.
After leaving the dealership very disappointed we decided to purchase a Audi A7, then we got a call from MBZ saying they located the exact car we were looking for. We were given a delivery date twice each not met. We were then told the car had arrived we could come inspect it but would not be able to take delivery since the pre delivery inspection had not yet been done. We were inspecting the car and found out it had been inspected at the dealership it was previously delivered to and we would be able to take delivery. We paid cash for the car and drove it away. The support staff was excellent (Zach Sutter) patient and very knowledgeable. When we asked about turning in a survey, which we had not yet received, we were told if for any reason it cant be all 10s don't turn one in at all. When we asked for a survey to be emailed to us we were told a duplicate survey could not be sent. We then called main office and explained the situation. The contact person remembered us and promptly sent us a survey. I could deeper into communication problems but I think this is enough. So far we are very happy with the car and hope that our experience with your service department will be satisfactory. It has been excellent in the past with the service on our MBZ sprinter.
