They replaced my transmission for $6,000, it only lasted 11 months. I took it in for another replacemant since it was still under warranty, and they want $1,300 because according to them it does not include 11 months. The last time I was there my service rep was not returning my calles, and they were more focus on selling me a new car than, taking care of the problem at hand. I have one year left, before this car is paid for, and my wife has a GMC Envoy, already paid for; we were both considering trading both cars in for two new Mercedes, but after my experince at this dealer, you can rest asure we'll be switching to a different make. Very upsetting experience. Spreading bad news about others is not something I ever want to do or believe in. Please forgive me. Their entire management team is in dire need of a lot of coaching about the art of good relationship building, and preserving their business reputation. Alas I am sorry to report their service is very poor, and they are extremely argumentative for no foreseeable reason. They seem only interested in fighting, and protecting one another and not problem solving. Try another dealership that is directly related to Mercedes. Not AutoNation like this one. It is with great sadness for the Mercedes Brand that I must report this dealership is quite out of touch with the meaning of customer care especially in these hard economic times. I worry for their employees as I don't see much future with their business. More
Replaced trunk lid shocks and found a chip on the outside of the trunk when the work was completed. This chip was touched up with paint, however, it did not match! Mr Kordick said that it was not done by an of the trunk when the work was completed. This chip was touched up with paint, however, it did not match! Mr Kordick said that it was not done by any one of his mechanics, it would NEVER happen there without the mechanic telling of this happening. Right! The chip was not there when I brought the car in for service and was never inspected by the service manager, none the less I was told it would never happen there! Never and always are a bit of an exaggeration, as they ALWAYS inspect the car prior to any repairs, wrong! I had an appointment for the repair and told I would have the car back the same day, wrong! This inconvienced my trip, wasted my day and I now need to bring the car back at a later date. I will not set foot in the dealership again and would not recommend this dearler to anyone....buy a chevy!! More
When this dealer was under the ownership of Glauser they were the best now under Autonation avoid this place. Customers come last they only care about themselves. I had a dangerous transmission problem there was a TSB for they refused to fix as they could not duplicate it even though the TSB stated "if the customer reports". Had the factory rep (who is buddy buddy with the service manager) take a ride & we noticed other problems the tech said he fixed. The dealers reply make another appointment even the the tech lied, he is the one who also claimed he could not duplicate the transmission problem. When autonation took over a lot of takes who went the best for the customer are no longer there. Avoid Mercedes Benz of Sarasota. More
